PENNSBURY 15, NESHAMINY 5
The Falcons kept possession of the coveted Doug Greenfield ‘Grandpa’ Cup they’d won in 2019 when the neighboring rivals last met. The cup is named after the longtime Pennsbury assistant who played a major role in the start of the program and passed away in 2018.
The Falcons also honored the team’s nine seniors – Will Cusick, Avery Dysart, Nico Cione, Ty Geist, Matt Harkins, Ryan DeZutel, Stone Bambrick, Tyler Miles and Jackson Lake.
“It was a great game,” Pennsbury coach Dean Curtis said. “It was Senior Night, we played our rival, and our boys put together a really good effort led by Jack (Kalinowski) and Avery (Dysart).
“The whole team contributed to the win from senior Ryan DeZutel winning the first face-off and scoring to senior Will Cusick playing a great game and leading our defense.”
