CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 10, ABINGTON 6
Twenty-four hours after their emotional win over Souderton, the Bucks were back on the field for a non-league game against the Ghosts. They opened up a 3-1 lead after one quarter and still led by two at halftime. West outscored the Ghosts 3-1 in the third quarter to go on top 8-4 heading into the final frame.
Freshman Matt Jacobsen once again dominated play at the faceoff X, winning 16 of 17 faceoffs.
Austin Hahn duplicated his four-goal, one-assist effort of the previous night to lead the Bucks’ offense. Brayden Albrecht added a pair of goals while Connor Albrecht, Jacobsen, Evan Goldrick and Cole Graeff each added a single goal. Jacobsen, Connor Albrecht and Jeff Woosnam each had an assist.
Evan Hee recorded four saves in a winning effort in goal.
Central Bucks West (2-2, 1-0 SOL) will host Pennsbury on Friday at 7 p.m., and Abington (0-3) will be on the road at Quakertown on Friday.

PENNSBURY 11, PENNINGTON 10
The Falcons opened up a 10-6 lead in the fourth period and appeared to be in command only to watch their visitors rally to trim that lead to one in the closing moments of the contest.
“It was an even game throughout,” Pennsbury coach Dean Curtis said. “Pennsbury pulled ahead 10-6 in the fourth, but with five minutes left in the game, Pennington scored two quick goals to cut it to two.
“Pennsbury scored the eventual game winner with three minutes left, but Pennington added two scores in the final minute of play and had a last second shot to tie the game as time expired. Nico Cione came up big at the end with a point blank save to seal the win.”
Ryan DeZutel was solid at the X with 15 faceoff wins and nine ground balls.
Avery Dysart led a balanced Falcon attack with three goals and two assists while Jack Kalinowski and Kolby Rannielo both added two goals. Shane Siegmund added one goal and two assists, and contributing one goal each were Michael DeZutel (one assist) Reece Millman and Kyle Rinehimer. Millman also had seven ground balls. Will Taylor chipped in an assist.
Cione recorded eight saves in the win.
Pennsbury (3-1, 1-0 SOL) will be on the road at Central Bucks West on Friday night (7 p.m.).

WISSAHICKON 11, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 1
The Trojans earned a hard fought win over the visiting Patriots in a non-league contest Wednesday.
Jackson Intrieri (two goals, two assists), Kyle Lehman (two goals, one assist), Dean Wolfe (three goals) and Brody Myers (two goals) all had multiple goals to lead a balanced Trojan attack. Nicholas Donofrio and Matt Fritz both added a single goal and Sam Baker had an assist.
Fritz also had a big night at the faceoff X, winning 12 of 16 faceoffs. He also was credited with nine ground balls.
Anchoring the Trojans’ standout defensive effort were Jake Licata, Chase Ott, Max Gendelman, Quinn Fonash and Ethan Glass.
Scott Pfeiffer was credited with 10 saves in goal in a standout effort.
Wissahickon (2-1) will travel to Academy of the New Church for a non-league contest Friday.
