PENNSBURY 13, NESHAMINY 11
Pennsbury utilized a thrilling fourth-quarter comeback to claim the Doug “Grandpa” Greenfield Cup over Neshaminy, rallying from a 10-9 deficit after three quarter to outscore the ‘Skins 4-1 in the final frame.
Ben Abraham racked up six goals and an assist and Ryan Kelly scored three of his own along with an assist for the Rams. Cole Ruoff, Nate Racagno (assist, six ground balls), Luke Vando (two assists, six ground balls) and Nick Sutton (assist, three ground balls) also scored for Pennsbury. Tre Raniello (assist, three ground balls), Ethan Glynn (four ground balls) and Gavin Fleming (assist) also contributed for the winners.
“Bringing home the Doug ‘Grandpa’ Greenfield Cup is a big win for us,” Pennsbury head coach Drew Artin said. “I always ask my guys for effort and tonight we got to see the results of 48 minutes of hard-fought effort. We’re all smiles at Pennsbury after this one.”
The win was the first in National Conference play for the Falcons.
Pennsbury (3-10, 1-4 SOL) will travel to Central Bucks East on Friday, and Neshaminy (2-8, 0-4) will host Central Bucks South on Thursday.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 13, CHELTENHAM 3
CB West jumped out to an 8-0 first-quarter lead and never looked back in its 10-goal victory over Cheltenham. Joey Rockovich led the charge with four scores to go along with an assist, and Shane Early scored twice for the Bucks.
Brandon Gervais (two assists), Mark McCool, Mike Kilkenny, Garrett Hitchens, Max Ojert, Christian Kunkel and Nick Werner also all found the back of the net for CB West.
Erik Ojert, Mike Samson, Jake Carey and Zach Lorino added helpers for the Bucks, and Max Dunar (one save) and Conner Garrison (three saves) split time in net for the victors.
Hitchens won eight of his 12 face-offs, while McCool won three of five and Lorino won all three of his.
Harvey Miller made 12 saves in goal for Cheltenham.
Central Bucks West (10-4, 5-1 SOL) will host Council Rock North on Thursday, and Cheltenham (4-10, 0-6) will travel to Souderton on Friday.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 13, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 4
Central Bucks East traveled to backyard rival Central Bucks South Wednesday evening and came away with a convincing 13-4 win. The Patriots scored three goals in the first quarter and four more in the second to take a 7-0 lead at the half. East came out just as strong in the second half, scoring six more goals and going on to win 13-4.
Michael Ott was dominant at face-off winning 17-of-20.
The Patriots offense was led by Ryan Stout, who had a hat trick. Ryan Schmidt, Alec Bracken, and Gregory Scholz each had two goals, while Ryan Bullotta, Ryan Brown, Ott, and Jake Ventresca each chipped in with one goal. Scholz had two assists, while Schmidt, Bracken, Ott and Bryan McIntosh were each credited with one assist. Ott scooped up 10 ground-balls, Colin Stein had four, Schmidt, Brown, and Kueny each had three, McIntosh, Galow, Ventresca had two apiece, while Joe Thiroway, Drew Bethke, Scholz,Bracken, Brant Billingsley, and Conor Larkin each had one ground ball.
The defense was led by Thiroway, Bethke, Stein, and Ventresca, who all had one caused turnover. Liam Rosenthal was strong in goal, recording nine saves.
Dante Poli led the way for the Titans with a three-goal, one-assist performance in the losing effort. Ian Vogt added a goal and Dan Mignogna had an assist for the Titans.
CB South grabbed 12 ground balls as a team – Poli had three, Justin Abbonizo, Austin Novick and Andrew Fratangelli had two and Chris Surina, Conner Falkowski and Brad Ross had one apiece. Ross made 13 saves in goal and Colin Bernstein had one of his own. Matt Stoll was 2-for-14 on face-offs and Fratangelli was 1-for-6.
Central Bucks East (11-2, 6-0 SOL) will host Pennsbury on Friday, and Central Bucks South (7-7, 2-4) will host Neshaminy on Thursday at 7 p.m.
