Setter Tim Seydel had a huge night for the Ghosts, handing out 45 assists to go along with four digs and two kills. Jason Toomey (12 kills), Matt Penecale (10 kills, three blocks), Jae Song (eight kills, one block) and Mark Bond (nine kills, five blocks) led the Ghosts at the net. Joe Wyllie sparked the defense with 12 digs.
NORTH PENN 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 0 (25-11, 25-18, 25-15)
Gabe Stoler turned in a huge performance at the net, contributing 13 kills and two blocks. Kyle Sucro (seven kills, two assists, one block, one dig) and Eric Mellman (eight kills, two assists) also had big nights. Setter Mark Elias had two kills to go along with 26 assists, one block and one ace. Jake Walters (three kills, four blocks), Connor Sloan (two kills, two blocks) and Darsh Bhalodia (two blocks) also contributed at the net.
Monday, April 21
PENNRIDGE 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-18)
Devon Rice (nine kills, four aces, three blocks) and Ben Chinnici (nine kills, six digs) had big nights at the net for the Rams. Setter Brad Nase contributed 30 assists and three aces. Also making contributions were Vince Kauders (two kills, three blocks), Alex Vellner (four kills, two aces) and Kolby Smith (three aces).
With the win, the Rams upped their record too 8-2. They will travel to Cheltenham on Wednesday.
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (15-25, 21-25, 17-25)
For the Panthers, Josh Morgan delivered six kills, two blocks and five digs. Lucas Schan (three kills, three blocks), Mike Dierolf (two kills, nine digs) and Coulton Terry (three kills, four digs). Setter Xavier Villanueva had 16 assists, five digs and one kill.
COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-18)
The Indians received strong performances all-around from Austin Fuglestad (nine kills, six digs), Nick Reich (eight kills, three blocks, two digs, one ace) and Josh Hinton (seven kills, 10 digs, four aces). Also contributing at the net were Aldan LeClair (three kills, four blocks), Will Desautelle (two kills) and Matt Pine (one block). Setters Dalton Abrahamsen (14 assists, eight digs) and Logan Fuglestad (nine assists, two digs) spread the ball around. Andy Van Thuyne contributed defensively with four digs.
With the win, the Indians improved to 5-3 in SOL play (6-4 overall). They will travel to William Tennent for a Wednesday night match.
