Boys (Non-league)
WEST CHESTER RUSTIN 13, SOUDERTON 6
The Indians trailed by just one at halftime, but Rustin closed out the game with a 9-3 second-half tear to earn the non-league win.
Cole Witoslawski led the Indians with three goals while Fergus Evanick, Jalen White and Jamison McDivitt each had one goal. Dylan Anderson contributed an assist.
Axel Beskar recorded 12 saves in goal for the Indians.
Souderton (9-3, 3-1 SOL) will host Springfield Township on Tuesday in its Fight Pediatric Cancer contest.

DOWNINGTOWN WEST 12, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 10
The Bucks lost for just the second time this season, falling to the Whippets in a tightly contested game. The Bucks took a 6-3 lead into halftime, but that disappeared in a third quarter that saw the Whippets go on a 6-2 tear. They edged the Bucks 3-2 in the final quarter to earn the non-league win.
West’s attack was led by twins Erik and Jake Ojert, who combined for eight goals and two assists. Erik Ojert led the Bucks with a game-high five goals while Jake Ojert had three goals and two assists. Jake Lang and Garrett Hitchens each added single goals. Christian Kunkel chipped in with an assist.
Hitchens won 14 of 25 face-offs.
Goalie Max Dunar was credited with eight saves.
Central Bucks West (10-2, 5-0 SOL) will host Central Bucks South on Tuesday.

Girls (Non-league)
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 13, MOUNT ST. JOSEPH 11
The Bucks won their third straight game, defeating the visiting Magic in Saturday’s non-league contest.
“Coming off a game just the night before, it was a good win,” coach Rebecca Cartee Haring said.
Casey Reichwein turned in yet another dominant performance in the circle, finishing with 15 draw controls to go along with three goals and three assists. Emma Haring led the attack with five goals and two assists. Maddy McGarry added two goals and two assists as well as two draw controls. Shelby Hahn had a pair of goals, and Paige Gilbert added a single goal.
“Maddy McGarry had a solid all-around game today,” Cartee Haring said. “And the defensive unit of Kiersten Mangin, Izzy Treon, Shannen Roy and Ryan Kelly played well together.
Roy and Kelly each had three caused turnovers while Treon and Mangin both had two caused turnovers.
Central Bucks West (8-4, 4-0 SOL) – fourth in the latest District 1 3A power rankings – will host North Penn in a battle for the top spot in the SOL National on Monday at 7 p.m.
PARKLAND 15, NORTH PENN 10
The Knights found themselves on the short end of an 8-6 score at halftime and never could dig themselves out of that first-half hole.
“We struggled to win the draw in the first half, which is reflected in our score,” coach Heather Mellow said. “In the second half, Alli Lindsay did a great job stepping up, hustling and winning the draw.
“Unfortunately, the entire team didn’t play consistently enough to overcome the deficit in the score.”
Lindsay led the Knights with three goals and three assists to go along with five draw controls. Lily Szilagyi also had a hat trick. Casey Cavanaugh added a pair of goals while Kristin Varilla had one goal and three assists. Emily Varilla added a goal and two draw controls.
Goalie Ashley Lambert recorded eight saves and also had three interceptions.
North Penn (7-6, 5-0 SOL) will travel to Central Bucks West on Monday for an SOL National Conference showdown.
