Souderton 13, Plymouth Whitemarsh 5
Souderton sent its seniors off in fine fashion on Thursday, powering ahead in the second quarter and rolling to a 13-5 victory over Plymouth Whitemarsh on Senior Night.
For Souderton, senior Kobi Bui scored 4 goals, Riley Eberly had 1 goal and 1 assist, Justin Wawrzynek scored once, and Luke Wawrzynek added 1 assist to go along with 16 of 20 faceoff wins.
Sending the veterans off with a solid effort, Souderton also got significant contributions from underclassmen Jamison McDivitt (3 goals), Seth Grossman (2 goals, 1 assist), Ty Quintos (1 goal, 2 assists) and Dylan Reinford (1 goal).
With the victory, Souderton improves to 10-5 overall (4-5 National Conference) and is right back in action with a 5 pm game Friday hosting North Penn on Staff Appreciation Night. The Colonials drop to 4-7, 4-4 American Conference, and will visit Upper Moreland at 3:30 pm Monday for an American Conference clash.

Springfield Township 3, Neshaminy 1
Patrick McMahon was stellar, turning aside 10 of 11 shots he faced and holding Neshaminy scoreless until the final quarter, as Springfield Township pulled out the 3-1 victory in Thursday’s low-scoring nonleague affair.
The Spartans also received outstanding efforts from defenders Mike Matthews, Gavin Delarso, and Brennan Donnelly as well as long stick middies Jackson Pennington, Ethan Rudnick, and Gabe Fluehr.
Alex Vecchione had 1 goal and 2 ground balls, Luke Gozzard chipped in with 1 goal, Cameron Dennis had 1 assist and 2 ground balls, and Jaxon Weiss dished out 1 assist.
Springfield moves to 7-5 overall, 4-3 American Conference. The Spartans visit Upper Moreland today at 3:30 pm for a conference matchup. Neshaminy falls to 3-14, 1-10, and will visit Harry S Truman at 3:30 pm today.

New Hope-Solebury 16, Archbishop Ryan 4
Kyle McLaughlin led the way with 5 goals and Malcolm Raupp added 4 as New Hope-Solebury made quick work of Archbishop Ryan in Thursday’s nonleague matchup.
Jace Caponegro and Nate Donohoe each scored 3 for the Lions, who poured in 8 goals in each of the first two quarters to bring a 16-2 lead into halftime. Ryan Riggione had 6 ground balls. Tanner Richmond and Leo Fowler split time in the cage for New Hope-Solebury, with each recording 8 saves.
The victory boosts New Hope-Solebury to 5-9 overall (2-8 American Conference), and will visit Bishop Shanahan for a nonleague game Friday at 3:45 pm.

Downingtown East 7, Wissahickon 5
American Conference frontrunner Wissahickon dropped a hard-fought nonleague battle at Downingtown East on Thursday.
Jackson Intrieri led the Trojans with 2 goals and 2 assists. Kyle Lehman scored twice, Dean Wolfe had 1 goal and 1 assist, Andrew Slackman added 1 goal, and EJ Schreiner chipped in with 1 assist.
Matt Fritz won 13 of 17 faceoffs, and Scott Pfeiffer made 7 saves in goal for the Trojans, who drop to 9-3 overall (8-0 in American Conference play). The Trojans will look to return to their winning ways when they host Quakertown at 5 pm Monday.

Abington 14, Cheltenham 0
Lesha Karaba scored a game-high 4 goals, Emma Warner netted 2, and Erica Simon scored her first goal of the season as Abington blanked American Conference and neighborhood rival Cheltenham 14-0 on Thursday.
Avery Sullivan scored 2 for the Ghosts while Lilly Alessandro, Maddie Hinkle, Shea Gormley, and Mei Mei Cheng each added 1.
“Our attack did a nice job, they were moving the ball quickly tonight,” said Abington coach Amalie Kreitman. “We played another good game tonight. We had a bunch of different scorers, which was nice.”
Hinkle also added 4 draw faceoff wins for the Ghosts, who improve to 3-3 in American Conference play, 4-4 overall. The Ghosts will host Hatboro-Horsham today at 3:30 pm. Cheltenham falls to 0-8, 0-7, and will host William Tennent today at 3:30 pm.
SOL National Conference
Pennsbury 15, Bensalem 4
Ten different players scored goals as Pennsbury rolled to a 15-4 victory over Bensalem in Thursday’s National Conference matchup.
Maggie Golder (2 assists), Olivia Graebner, and Lily Abraham each scored twice for the Falcons, while Lexie Snyder, Olivia Walcott (1 assist), Sarah Walcott (1 assist), Jaclyn Gorgo (1 assist), Darrien Furiness, Maddy Spratt (3 assists), Riley Borgman, and Rachel Stein each added 1 goal. Olivia Pogyor dished out 1 assist.
Pennsbury controlled ground balls, with Furiness (4), Graebner (3), Golder (2), Snyder (2), Spratt (1), Olivia Walcott (1), and Sarah Walcott (1) all recording ground ball pickups.
Ella Galati earned the win in goal for the Falcons, who move into a tie atop the National Conference with Council Rock South (both teams 21 points, though South has played one fewer game). The Falcons stand at 7-1 in conference play, 11-1 overall, and will host Hatboro-Horsham in a nonleague matchup Saturday at 11 am. Bensalem remains winless in conference play at 0-8, 2-11, and will visit Central Bucks South at 7 pm Monday.

Springfield Township 20, Neshaminy 3
Springfield Township went back-to-back.
One day after defeating Hatboro-Horsham by a 20-6 score, the Spartans came back on Thursday to defeat the Redskins by a remarkably similar score.
Maddie Yoder powered in 7 goals for the Spartans, who received an 8-point effort from Ella Marino (5 goals, 3 assist). Fiona Rizzo scored 3 and added 3 assists, Emma Yoder finished with a hat trick, Stella Nelson had 1 goal and 1 assist, Maddie McDevitt scored 1 goal, Lauren Corrado dished out 3 assists, while Shannon Meder added 1 assist.
Tess Talbot made 8 saves to earn the win in goal for Springfield, which moves to 10-3 overall, 5-2 in American Conference play. The Spartans will host Upper Moreland at 3:30 pm Monday. Neshaminy drops to 1-13, 1-7 in National Conference play, and will host neighborhood rival Pennsbury at 3:30 pm Monday.
Wilson 14, Plymouth Whitemarsh 13
A goal in the closing seconds allowed Wilson to escape with a hard fought win over the visiting Colonials in a non-league contest Thursday. The two teams were deadlocked 6-6 at halftime.
“We had an opportunity in the end to win with possession, and with about 90 seconds left, we turned it over on an errant pass,” PW coach Ellen Reilly said. “Wilson got possession, and with eight seconds left on an 8-meter, they scored to win the game.”
Max Leszczynski kept the Colonials in it with a glittering performance, contributing eight goals, one assist and six draw controls. Meghan Wendler added three goals, and Fiona Gooneratne had two goals and two assists.
PW goalie Clancy Lynch was credited with nine saves.
Plymouth Whitemarsh (7-8, 7-2 SOL) will host Cheltenham on Monday.

Ella Marino scored the 100th goal of her career among her game-high 7 points as Springfield Township rolled to a 20-6 victory over Hatboro-Horsham in Wednesday’s American Conference matchup. Marino paved the way for the Spartans with 5 goals and 2 assists.
Maddie Yoder scored 6 goals for Springfield, who also saw scoring from Emma Yoder (3 goals, 1 assist), Lauren Corrado (1 goal, 6 assists), Fiona Rizzo (2 goals, 2 assists), Raya Davis (1 goal), Annie Coll (1 goal), and Stella Nelson (1 goal).
Freshman Tess Talbot notched the 100th save of her career among her 3 stops in the victory.
