COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 13, NESHAMINY 7
The Indians celebrated Senior Night with a big win over the Redskins.
Beckett Thompson had a hand in six goals, scoring three and assisting on three others. Jack Jogerst had a five-point night with four goals and one assist. Peter Lehman had a pair of goals while Jack Early had one goal and two assists. Adding single goals were Ben Hoefer, Ian Waitkus and Brandon McLaughlin.
Defenseman Joey Scardino scooped up six ground balls to lead the Indians. Picking up three ground balls each were Jogerst, Early, Thompson and Nick Murray. Hoefer and Zach Saifer both had a pair, and adding one ground ball each were Lehman, Freddy Germana, Ian Waitkus and Max Jogerst.
Senior goalie Phil Huddy recorded nine saves, and it was Huddy and fellow senior Scardino leading a strong defensive effort.
“Joey Scardino and Phil Huddy had outstanding games,” coach John Fitzpatrick said.
Council Rock North (9-6, 5-3 SOL) will travel to North Penn on Thursday, and Neshaminy (2-11, 0-6) will host New Hope-Solebury in a non-league contest Wednesday.
PENNRIDGE 12, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 9
The Rams seized early control of Tuesday’s contest, opening up a 5-1 lead after one quarter and extending that to 10-1 by halftime on their way to the no-doubt-about-it win.
Nick Fanelli’s four-goal effort led the Rams, who received two goals from both Ryan Garner and Kevin Britner. Chris Warner recorded three assists to go along with one goal. Contributing one goal each were Jack Garner, PJ Matkowski and Joey Murreda.
Tristan Banks (six saves) and Austin Swartley (three saves) split time in goal for the Rams.
Pennridge (10-7, 5-3) will travel to Central Bucks South on Thursday, and Council Rock South (4-8, 1-6) will be on the road at Central Bucks East on Thursday.

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 14, PENNSBURY 5
The visiting Titans defeated the Falcons 14-5, turning in a stellar defensive effort and shutting out the Falcons in the second half.
Dante Poli led the scoring with two goals and six assists for an eight-point game. Ian Vogt and brothers Justin and Collin Abbonizio had three goals each. Ian also tallied one assist. Austin Novick had three assists. Dan Mignogna, Mike Dutkiewicz, and Dylan Grosso each had a goal. Alec Schmidt had an assist. Poli had four ground balls, Mignogna had three, and DJ Loverdi and Angus Balentine had two each.
CB South went 11-of-20 at the X with Matt Stoll going 10-of-15 and Mark Lumb going 1-of-5. Matt Stoll also grabbed six ground balls. Titan goalie Brad Ross had 15 saves and three ground balls. Bobby Sautner had five saves.
Central Bucks South (10-7, 4-4 SOL) will host Pennridge on Thursday, and Pennsbury (4-12, 2-6) will travel to Harry S Truman on Thursday.
CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 10, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 4
Central Bucks West jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead when Nick Werner picked up a ground ball off of the initial face off and scored with just 13 seconds into the game. The Bucks played with a lot of emotion, slowed the game down throughout the first half and kept the game close. The Patriots led this tight contest at the half by a score of 4-2.
East took over the game in the second half. The third quarter started with an East penalty, and the Patriots were forced to play man-down. While trying to kill the penalty, East's senior defenseman, Joe Thiroway, forced a West turnover with a stick check, then scooped up the ground ball ran the ball the length of the field, passed to Ryan Bullotta who passed to an open Ryan Brown for a goal that made the score 5-2. The Patriots never looked back and went on to score three more goals in the next five minutes to take a commanding 8-2 lead. Brown scored all three of his goals in the third quarter. West added a goal and the score was 8-3 at the end of the third quarter. East outscored West 2-1 in the fourth and cruised to a 10-4 win.
Offensively, the Patriots were led by Michael Ott who won 11-of-17 face-offs, had 10 ground balls, scored a hat trick and was credited with an assist. Brown also added a hat trick and an assist. Ryan Schmidt added two goals, while Ryan Stout and Alec Bracken had a goal apiece. Drew Bethke had three ground balls, Thiroway was credited with two, while Stout, Bullotta, Jake Ventresca, Bryan McIntosh, and Colin Stein each had one ground ball.
East's defense was very aggressive and stingy as it limited West to just four goals. Thiroway and Brown led the Patriots with two caused turnovers, while Ventresca, Ott, and Bethke were each credited with one. East's sophomore goalie, Liam Rosenthal, was very strong in goal chalking up 10 saves.
In a contest that invariably pits friend against friend, Tuesday night's contest saw a pair of future teammates do battle. CB East's Joe Thiroway and CB West's Ben Karthaus have both committed to continue their lacrosse careers at The Catholic University of America where they will also be roommates.
With the victory East improved to 13-2 ( 8-0 SOL). The Patriots have won 10 games in a row and are currently ranked No. 2 in the PIAA District One 3A power rankings. The Patriots host Council Rock South on Thursday and travel to Radnor on Friday to close out the regular season. Central Bucks West (11-5, 6-2) will travel to Neshaminy on Thursday.

SOUDERTON 8, PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 7 (2 OT)
Trent Breneman scored in the second overtime to propel the visiting Indians to the dramatic win over the Colonials.
“It was an incredible team effort led by a great defensive performance,” coach Mark Princehorn said. “I’m very proud of them. They were warriors tonight.”
Walker Martin’s hat trick led the Indians while Breneman added a pair of goals. Jake Phaup – who won all but two face-offs – and Stephen Blue both contributed a goal and an assist. Adam Booz had one goal, and Matt Rauch had an assist.
Axell Beskar recorded nine saves.
Souderton (16-1, 8-1 SOL) will close out its regular season with a home game on Thursday against conference-leading Hatboro-Horsham. Plymouth Whitemarsh (6-10, 4-4) will travel to Springfield Township Thursday for its final regular season game on Thursday.
HATBORO-HORSHAM 13, ABINGTON 3
Brian Hood won 14-of-14 face-offs and teammate Chris Dearden was a perfect 6-of-6, setting the tone for the Hatters’ convincing win.
Joe Larouche’s five-goal, one-assist effort led the Hatters. Tim McPoyle and Cameron Knox (one assist) both contributed a hat trick. Matt Barella had a goal and an assist. Hood, Tom Watkins, Will Reimenschneider and Chris McPoyle each added one goal.
Dan Jamison, Joe Brophy and Michael Joyce split time in goal with each player recording three saves.
Hatboro-Horsham (14-2, 8-0 SOL) will travel to Souderton for a conference showdown with the Indians on Thursday. Abington (3-13, 1-7) will host Quakertown in its regular season finale on Wednesday.
WISSAHICKON 5, SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP 4 (OT)
The Trojans won a thriller in overtime on Tuesday.
For the Spartans, Nick deQuevedo, William Kaufmann, Paul Richardson and George Baughan each contributed a goal.
Wissahickon (6-11, 5-3 SOL) will host Upper Moreland in its regular season finale Thursday, and Springfield Township (11-4, 4-4) will travel to Roman Catholic on Wednesday for a non-league contest.
UPPER MORELAND 17, CHELTENHAM 6
The Golden Bears, who led 6-1 after one quarter, took, a 14-2 lead into halftime on their way to the decisive win.
For the Panthers, Tim McHugh had a hat trick while Harry Stackhouse (one assist), Colin Boyle and Jade Siojo each added one goal. Daniel Lee won 10-of-17 face-offs for the Panthers. Cheltenham goalie Harvey Miller recorded 10 saves.
Upper Moreland (5-9, 3-5 SOL) will travel to Wissahickon on Thursday, and Cheltenham (4-12, 0-8) will host Upper Moreland on Friday.
Girls
UPPER DUBLIN 13, CHELTENHAM 4
The Flying Cardinals celebrated Senior Night with a convincing win over the Lady Panthers. Senior Hannah Reape’s four-goal, one-assist effort included a milestone as she connected for her 100th career goal.
Mack Moore added two goals and two assists, and Becky Browndorf had a pair of goals. Maddie Templeton had one goal and one assist. Jackie Rama set the tone for the Cardinals’ dominance with eight draw controls. Adding one goal each were Lindsey Schreiber, Caroline Wall and Shannon Reape. Reape also was credited with four ground balls and one caused turnover. Elizabeth Barber had five ground balls and one caused turnover.
Goalie Sarah Herchenroder recorded four saves.
For the Lady Panthers, Amber Turner had a goal and two assists, and Marycait Dorely had one goal and one assist. Liza Becker and Dana Shelton both added one goal.
Upper Dublin (13-3, 8-1 SOL) will host Boyertown in a non-league contest Wednesday, and Cheltenham closed out its season with a 6-12 record overall, 1-8 in SOL play.
