COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 1, ARCHBISHOP RYAN 0
The Indians celebrated Senior Night with an impressive non-league win over a Ryan squad that was a PIAA Class 3A state qualifier last year.
Chase McCaffrey broke a scoreless tie, connecting for the game-winner with seven minutes remaining in the match on a wild scramble.
“McCaffrey along with defensive line-mates Danny Ugras, Hunter Klein, Mike Pinho and Corey Brennan limited the Ryan forwards to just five shots, and keeper Gavin Roon made one spectacular save to salvage the shutout,” Rock North coach Joe Stackhouse said. “Midfielders Tanmay Ondkar, Max Leff and Cole Mayer pressed Ryan most of the second half after some adjustments at halftime.”
North – which also has a win over PIAA 3A state runner-up Archbishop Wood – is now 10-2-2 overall on the year and 8-2-2 in the division. The Indians hold a one-point lead in the standings with four regular season games remaining. Rock North – 11th in the latest District One 4A power rankings – will host Bensalem on Tuesday.

CONWELL EGAN 3, CHELTENHAM 0
The visiting Lady Panthers never could find the back of the net, but coach Leah Matusow was pleased with her team’s effort in Monday’s non-league game.
“We came out and competed for 80 minutes today with numerous players stepping up and playing different positions,” Matusow said. “I’m proud of our fight and the positive mindset we are bringing into each game.
“We are still looking to finish on the opportunities we create throughout the game, and that’s going to be a focus as we head into the last five games of the season.”
Cheltenham (0-12-1, 0-11-1 SOL) will travel to Lower Moreland for a 7 p.m. game on Tuesday.
