NESHAMINY 4, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0
The Redskins exploded for four first-half goals on their way to the impressive non-league win over the visiting Titans Monday.
Dan Grindrod opened the scoring when he bent a free kick around the wall inside the near post in the 12th minute. Six minutes later, Matt Leonhauser scored, turning Chase Rider’s rebound into a goal from 22 yards out. Then it was Grindrod hitting Kevin Sheenan slicing through the defense, and Sheenan went in on the keeper and tucked the ball into the back of the net in the 25th minute. Vince Hosephros took a long cross from Chris Amaro and beat the goalkeeper cleanly for a goal in the 31st minute to give the Redskins a 4-0 lead.
“We played exceptionally well in the first half and could’ve had a couple more goals,” Neshaminy coach Tom Foley said. “Credit CB South – they kept playing hard and created several good opportunities.
“(Goalkeeper) Val Scarsellatto was forced to make several outstanding saves to preserve the shutout.”
Neshaminy (4-2, 2-1 SOL) will host Council Rock North in a key conference battle Tuesday, and Central Bucks South (3-4-1, 2-1-1) will be on the road at North Penn on Thursday.

SOUDERTON 5, CARDINAL O’HARA 0
Thanks to a hat trick from Robert Shea, the Indians continued their hot streak, celebrating Community Night by earning their third straight win. In their three-game winning streak, the Indians have outscored their opponents 13-1.
Kyle Russell put the Indians on the scoreboard in the 19th minute with a goal that turned out to be the game winner, using an Ethan Bell assist. Six minutes later, Cameron Hart turned a Ray Ricci pass into a goal, and then Shea went to work, scoring in the 30th and 38th minutes – the first with an Aiden Emery assist – to send the Indians into halftime with a commanding 4-0 lead.
Shea completed his hat trick in the 78th minute, assisted by Danny Marculo.
Souderton (3-2, 1-2 SOL) will be back in action Tuesday when the Indians host North Penn at 3:30 p.m.

Girls
CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 5, BENSALEM 0
The Titans sprinted to a 3-0 lead over the visiting Owls on their way to the non-league win.
Defender Margot Centofanti put the Titans on the board in the eighth minute when she scored on a free kick just outside the box. In the 24th minute, Caitlin Brennan converted a rebound on a corner kick into a goal and a 2-0 Titan lead. Brooke Seigerwalt turned a through ball from Chelsea Nichols into a goal to send the Titans into halftime with a three-goal advantage.
In the second half Mackenzie Edwards found the net, using an assist from Nichols, and Kayla Lutteroty’s unassisted goal closed out the scoring.
Coach Betsy Bullock gave keeper Sophia Boggs the day off, and Taylor Marinelli stepped in and recorded six saves to earn the shutout win.
“Taylor Marinelli did a great job of organizing our defense,” the Titans’ coach said.
Central Bucks South (6-1, 3-1 SOL) will be on the road at North Penn on Thursday, and Bensalem (3-4-1, 2-2) will travel to Norristown for a non-league contest Tuesday.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 2, HATBORO-HORSHAM 0
The Bucks came away winners in a non-league battle of former Continental Conference rivals.
Mary Kate Vinkler – who had a hand in both goals – put the Bucks on the board in the sixth minute, using an assist from senior Jill Nolan. In the 60th minute, Trish Hauk (Vinkler assist) found the net with an insurance goal for the 2-0 final.
Senior goalie Jenny Sutorious recorded her second shutout of the season.
Central Bucks West (4-4, 0-4 SOL) will be on the road at Pennridge on Tuesday while Hatboro-Horsham (2-2-2, 2-0-2) will host Plymouth Whitemarsh.

Villa opened up a 1-0 halftime lead on its way to a shutout win in a non-league contest pitting a pair of schools that advanced to the PIAA state final last season – Villa in AA and East in AAA.
Central Bucks East (2-4, 2-2 SOL) will be on the road at William Tennent on Tuesday.
