CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0
The Bucks celebrated their annual Pink Out night at War Memorial Field with a shutout win over their neighboring rivals. The Bucks, according to coach Courtney Lepping, played a well-controlled first half with lots of passing sequences and good defense.
“South did a good job of containing (us) to one side of the field,” Lepping said. “(We) were finally able to get some transferring through the midfield and defense to open up the game.”
The only score of the first half came on a Bryn Boylan corner shot with a Ryan Murray assist at the 22:38 mark. Taylor Mason scored on a strong shot from the top of the circle midway through the second half, and the final goal came off the stick of Dani Dundas with a crossing pass from Ryan Murray.
“Casey Reichwein had a beautiful defensive save in the second half to keep South off the board,” Lepping said.
West goalies Laura Kubit and Peyton Fisher combined for the shutout with one and two saves respectively. South goalie Francine Richick recorded 10 saves.
“CB West is a talented and fast team with a lot of offensive weapons,” South coach Pat Toner said. “(We) played strong defense, but we could not capitalize on our offensive opportunities.
“I am really pleased with the effort of the entire team. Despite the score, we are playing better each game. I am extremely proud of the progress this team has made in a short amount of time.”
Central Bucks West (9-3-1, 5-2-1 SOL) will host Central Bucks East on Thursday in a showdown between the neighboring rivals at 7 p.m. Central Bucks South (5-5-1, 4-5) will host William Tennent on Friday.

Riley Donnelly connected for the hat trick to lead the Patriots to the win, but it was sophomore Cailey Lever (Emma Donnelly assist) putting East on the board with a goal that turned out to be the game winner.
“The start of the game was back and forth, but finally, CB East was able to break the 0-0 tie with a beautiful slip pass by Emma Donnelly to Cailey Lever in front of the net,” coach Michelle Finegan said. “That was followed by a beautiful shot by Riley Donnelly to finish the half.”
Donnelly added a pair of second-half goals – the first with an assist from Lever and the second with an assist from Whitney Dietz.
“Mackenzie Boyle had a terrific game in the midfield,” said Finegan.
The Patriots’ coach went on to credit the strong performance of Pennridge goalie Mackenzie Bross, who recorded 13 saves.
The Patriots held a decisive advantage in shots (25-5) and corners (13-1).

WISSAHICKON 2, WILLIAM TENNENT 0
Anna Blackney scored a pair of goals – one in each half – to lead the Trojans to the non-league win over the visiting Panthers. Jess Waite assisted on both goals.
“Today was an important win for us,” coach Leah Angstadt said. “It gives us the momentum to go into the second half of our league games with confidence. We were able to transfer the ball well today and create attack.
“Our corner defense was also very strong at the end of the game, and we were able to hold our 2-0 lead. Jess Waite and Anna Blackney connected well today, with Anna scoring off of two hits from Jess. We have been struggling to connect in the circle and get goals and today the two of them were able to do it.
“Hannah Havrilla also had a nice game up on the attacking circle. As a freshman, she has really responded well to our feedback and is developing into a nice player. We are now looking to taking the momentum from this game into our night game against Upper Dublin tomorrow.”
Wissahickon (8-5, 6-3 SOL) will travel to Upper Dublin on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. contest. William Tennent (2-7-2, 0-6) will be on the road at North Penn Wednesday.

HAVERFORD 3, PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 1
The Colonials came out on the short end of the score for the first time this season when they fell to the host Fords in a non-league contest.
Things looked promising when the Colonials took a 1-0 lead into halftime, thanks to a goal by Frankie O’Brien (Sophie Kolkka assist) at the 25:34 mark, but the second half belonged to the Fords.
"(We) played a solid first half, but had a few defensive breakdowns in the second half that resulted in Haverford goals,” coach Charise Halteman said. “Overall, we played at a high-tempo and we have a lot of valuable lessons to take with us for the remainder of the season. Junior Sophie Kolkka and sophomore Jen Byrne played solid games for the Colonials."
Plymouth Whitemarsh (11-1-1, 9-0 SOL) will host Springfield Township on Wednesday.

DOCK MENNONITE ACADEMY 5, PENNRIDGE 1
The visiting Pioneers took a 2-0 lead into halftime on their way to the non-league win on Monday.
“The score did not truly reflect the play,” coach Becky Spahr said. “Dock just did a great job capitalizing on scoring opportunities and we did not. Otherwise, the play was pretty even throughout the entire 60 minutes.”
Jess Schmidt scored a pair of first-half goals to spark the Pioneers – both with Jill Bolton assists. Bolton (Caroline Beljan assist), Anna Gwiazdinski (Macy Balmer assist) and Balmer (Katie Strickland assist) found the cage for Dock in the second half.
The Rams’ lone score came in the second half when Caitlyn Amsden turned a Hannah Cook pass into a goal.
“Our forwards, Caitlyn Amsden, Sydney Borneman and Kellie Drugotch, played (well) and have improved their unit play and movement,” Spahr said. “We are getting into our offensive circle – we just need to improve our finishing skills.”
The Pioneers held an 18-10 advantage in shots, but the Rams had a decided edge in corners (16-10).
“We obviously will be focusing on corners at practice this week and need to improve our conversion rate,” Spahr said.
Pennridge goalie Mackenzie Bross was credited with 11 saves while Dock’s Sophie Zaskoda had nine.
