The Colonials opened took a 17-10 lead after one quarter and took that seven-point lead into halftime, 25-18. Grace Harvey’s seven points led a balanced PW attack in the half. Eliza Meersman and Kenna Winland both had six points. The Colonials were 11-for-16 from the foul line in the half.
The two teams spent the second half exchanging baskets, and the Colonials won the non-league game at Arcadia University by seven points.
For the game, the Colonials were 17-for-28 from the charity stripe.
By the numbers: Kenna Winland’s 14 points led the Colonials. Eliza Meersman added 13 points. The duo combined for a 13-16 effort at the foul line. Grace Harvey also finished in double figures with 11 and had a team-high seven rebounds and three assists. Liv Patete had eight points and three steals.
