Check out the recaps for SOL girls’ basketball teams in action Tuesday.

Non-league
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 50, UNIONVILLE 39
Senior Scarlett Baumgardner and sophomore Marleigh Mallon combined for 35 points to lead the Bucks to the non-league road win. Both players had 12 points in a first half that saw the Bucks open up a 32-14 lead. They never looked back.
Key players: Marleigh Mallon scored a game-high 20 points, and Scarlett Baumgardner added 15.
Central Bucks West coach Sydney Ott:
“Tonight was a nice win. It can be tough sometimes playing right before the break, but we came in with specific goals to achieve, and I think overall we did a good job accomplishing those goals as a team.”
Props: “Each of our girls continue to contribute. Marleigh Mallon continues to make a strong impact on the game for us as a sophomore, and Scarlett Baumgardner as senior leader, but it was extra thrilling to have Leah Cipollo, a freshman, make her varsity debut and step up to fill roles that we needed her to in those moments. The coaching staff and I are proud of all of our girls.”
Up next: Central Bucks West will compete in the opening game of the Marple Newtown Tournament Saturday (2:30pm).

GWYNEDD MERCY 47, HATBORO-HORSHAM 30
The Hatters, who trailed by five after one quarter, went into halftime on the short end of a 20-11 score. GMA added to its lead in the second half.
Mia Fisher and Madison Siegfried each had nine points to lead the Hatters.
HATBORO-HORSHAM associate head coach Nicole Miletto:
“We really didn’t play well tonight. We made lots of silly mistakes. We played some good defense, and we had some people step up like junior Madison Siegfried and senior Mia Fisher, but we struggled rebounding. We did get some nice minutes from sophomore Ciara Lacey, who is showing improvement. But being without two starters really puts us at a disadvantage to start the game.”
Up next: Hatboro-Horsham will return to action Monday at the Boardwalk Classic in Wildwood when the Hatters will face Middle Township High School at 4:15 pm.
