Check out the recaps for SOL girls’ lacrosse teams in action Thursday.

American Conference
Upper Dublin 14, William Tennent 3
A lot has been asked of Paige Dinkel during her junior year. She’s been asked to help out all over the field and has come through with flying colors.
And for all she’s done for the team, Dinkel got the opportunity to celebrate a personal accomplishment on Thursday, scoring the 100th goal of her
Cardinals’ career as part of a 4-goal effort in the Cardinals’ convincing win over the Panthers.
“Paige Dinkel has really worked hard this year and has become a leader on and off the field,” said Upper Dublin coach Dee Cross. “She is a valuable midfielder, and we look to her to score, help in transition, take the draw and play solid defense. She has answered every task, game after game, and it is rewarding to see her reach the 100th goal of her career as a junior. She is a very humble athlete, and it is nice to see her hard work and dedication pay off.”
Joining Dinkel with multiple goals was Ella Lyon, who netted a pair. The Cards also received one goal each from Allie Gay (2 A), Lily Buckius (1 A), Maeve Hogan (1 A), Ava Shohen (1A), Allison Loose (1 G), Olivia Hoffmann, Mads McManus, and Katie Stoughton.
With the win, Upper Dublin keeps pace with Springfield atop the American Conference standings, with both teams sporting 6-0 league records. The Cards are 10-2 overall and will have some time off before returning to action at 3:30 pm April 27 hosting Germantown Academy.

Molly Meakim’s goal wasn’t the game-winner. She didn’t lead Upper Moreland in scoring.
But Meakim’s tally was very likely the most special goal on this day.
“There are many moments that make a coach proud, but today was a special day to see a player return after tearing her ACL a year ago,” UM coach Kim Frantz said of Meakim. “I have been able to see a player back on the field two times in my Upper Moreland coaching career, both of whom are currently on the team, and it really is a great moment knowing how hard they worked to get to that point.
“So we celebrate the win today, but we also celebrate our teammate’s return to play. Molly Meakim had a great first day back and was able to score a goal on her return.”
Isabel Leiter—who has also worked her way back from a significant injury—led the Golden Bears with 3 goals and 2 assists. Olivia Meakim scored 2 goals and added 4 assists, Reagan Cummins had 2 goals and 2 assists, Annalise Messina, Alexa Marczak, and Willow Taylor each had 2 goals and 1 assist, Allison LaRocco scored twice, and Jenna Piatieri chipped in with 1 goal.
Addi Hurley made 13 saves to record the win in the cage for Upper Moreland, which improves to 10-2 overall (5-1 in American Conference play). The Golden Bears return to action when they visit Quakertown for a 6 pm Wednesday game.
