WISSAHICKON 17, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 10
The Trojans capped a perfect regular season with a non-league win at War Memorial Field.
Emma Baker once again was all but unstoppable, scoring nine goals and assisting on two others. She also had four draw controls and one ground ball. Abby DeGroat added a hat trick to go along with one assist and seven draw controls. Lexi Hobson once again stuffed the stat sheet, contributing two goals, one assist, five caused turnovers, three ground balls and five draw controls.
Quinn Gaffey scored two goals and assisted on two others. Sophia Chiodo Ortiz had one goal and two caused turnovers. Haley Reed had three caused turnovers and one ground ball. Nora Ryan had four ground balls. Amanda Brecher contributed one interception, two caused turnovers, one ground ball and one assist. Alena Doll had one ground ball and one caused turnover.
Wissahickon goalie Madeline Murphy had 12 saves in the win.
For the Bucks, Paige Gilbert once again turned in a strong outing, finishing with four goals, one assist and eight draw controls. Meg Weyer had one goal and four draw controls. Shelby Hahn added a pair of goals, and Jada Reichwein had one goal.
“I am proud of the girls for never giving up,” West coach Nicole Fisher said. “Kate Weyer had an amazing showing in the midfield with six ground balls and three caused turnovers.
“(Goalie) Margot Haring had another phenomenal game with 12 saves.”
Wissahickon (17-0, 11-0 SOL) is sixth in the latest District One 3A power rankings. Central Bucks West closed out its season with a 5-9 record. The Bucks were 5-5 in the SOL.

PENNSBURY 15, METHACTON 10
The Falcons – who raced out of the gate to a 12-3 halftime lead over the visiting Warriors – featured a four-pronged offensive attack in Friday’s non-league win.
Sarah Walcott led the Falcons – who were still without Darrien Furiness – with five goals and one assist, and Maggie Golder added four goals and three assists to go along with seven draw controls and three ground balls. Lexie Snyder (three goals, one assist) and Maddy Spratt (three goals, four assists, four ground balls, three caused turnovers, two draw controls) also came up big. Olivia Walcott added two assists and also had four ground balls, two draw controls and one caused turnover.
“The girls all really worked hard today,” coach Shannon MacPherson said. “It was a good game, and Methacton has some really talented players, including their goalie. Our defense played as a unit, which was huge in the win today.”
Sophia Curtis added two ground balls while Ava Ricciardi and Olivia Pogyor each had one ground ball and one caused turnover.
Pennsbury (14-1, 9-1 SOL) is eighth in the District One 3A power rankings heading into Saturday’s seeding meeting.

Lauren Hallman scored four goals to lead the Indians, and adding a hat trick were Caroline Kelly, Reiley Knize and Lexi Krebs.
Also for the Indians, Clark Trowbridge added a pair of goals while Isabel John had a goal and an assist. Ang Borisow and Ava Shaw both had one goal. Avery Farina and Julia Mangini each contributed two assists.
Courtney Mallon and Tegan Farina shared time in goal with each contributing four saves.
The Indians seized control of this one early, opening up a 9-3 halftime lead and never looking back.
Souderton (12-6, 6-4 SOL) is 16th in the latest District One 3A power rankings.
