Check out the recaps for SOL girls’ lacrosse teams in action Saturday.

Non-league
UPPER DUBLIN 16, METHACTON 15
When the Flying Cardinals went into halftime with a 12-6 lead, there was nothing to suggest Saturday’s non-league game would come down to the wire, but that’s exactly what happened. The Cardinals still led 14-7 only to watch the Warriors pull to within one. A goal by Jackie Rama gave the Cardinals a 16-14 lead before the Warriors scored a late goal.
“We had to make adjustments to our lineup today because of injuries, etc. and the girls responded as a team,” UD coach Dee Cross said. “We let a lead slip away in the second half, but the girls played with heart and were able to hold on against a tough, and athletic Methacton team. This was a good win for us, to bounce back from a tough loss on Thursday. We are hoping to carry the momentum into next week as we finish out our regular season.”
Rama scored five goals and two assists to lead the Cardinals, but it was her 17 draw controls that were the difference in the game. Julia Reardon added four goals and one assist, and Becky Browndorf added three goals and three assists. Jenn McCarry also had a hat trick and one assist. Allie Rock had one goal while Meg DiMartile had three assists.
Riley Brady and Rhianna Gonzales each had three saves in goal for the Flying Cardinals.

“Their momentum from yesterday brought them into today’s game ready to work for more. The girls played as a team today and did a nice job taking care of the ball and setting their teammates up to be successful. Every girl contributed to today’s win which makes it a success for us.”
