PENNSBURY 3, WILLIAM TENNENT 1 (24-26, 26-24, 25-16, 25-14)
The Falcons rebounded from a tightly contested loss in the first set to win the next three.
Taylor Petruccio led the Falcons with nine kills, three blocks, one ace and six digs. Keirsten Adair (six kills, one ace, eight digs), Claire MacElroy (six kills, four blocks, one dig), Kira Sendlock (five kills, one dig) and Janae Scott (five kills, five blocks) also contributed to a balanced Falcon effort at the net. Grace Sobey led the Falcons’ defensively with 17 digs while Caroline Croteau added nine digs to go along with two aces, and Faith Szumigala contributed five digs, one kill and one ace. Steph Adamousky finished with four aces and two digs.
COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, BENSALEM 0 (25-7, 25-14, 25-17)
The Indians upped their record to a perfect 7-0 with their sweep of the Owls.
Senior captain and outside hitter Ashleigh Adams led the charge with 21 kills, 10 digs, three aces and one block. Senior captain and setter Kate Logan had 19 assists, two digs, two aces, one kill and one block. Also contributing were senior middle hitter Bella Slough (four kills, one block), junior opposite Sophia Lentz (three kills, one dig, one block), sophomore libero Emma McNulty (four digs, three aces), senior outside hitter (four kills, five digs, one ace), senior setter Becca Wintjen (five digs, two aces, three assists), junior opposite Ashley Smith (one kill, one block), senior defensive specialist Arushi Singh (two digs), sophomore defensive specialist Kaitlyn Lidel (two digs) and sophomore opposite Elizabeth Butler (one block, one dig).
SOL Continental
CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, ABINGTON 2 (17-25, 25-14, 25-20, 15-25, 15-13)
Millie Groves reached the magical 1,000-kill plateau, and the Titans made sure the senior standout had plenty of reasons to celebrate, eking out the five-set win.
Groves, a senior outside hitter, led the Titans with 28 kills and 18 digs in an all-around stellar outing. Junior outside hitter Breckyn Lyond added eight kills, 17 digs and four aces. Senior setter Shannon Rector dished out 47 assists and also had seven digs and two aces, and senior libero Rian Grant contributed 19 digs, two kills and two assists. Junior middle Katie Canzanese added six kills and six digs.
Also contributing for the Titans were senior middle Erin Mangan (five kills, one block), senior opposite Olivia Dallmer (one kill, three blocks) and senior defensive specialist Morgan Schaefer (one ace, eight digs).
For the Ghosts, Lila Stonehouse matched Groves kill for kill, finishing with 28. Kenya Lucas added 15 kills, and setter Izzy Reilly had 40 assists.
NORTH PENN 3, SOUDERTON 0 (31-29, 25-14, 25-17)
The Knights staged a heroic comeback to win a marathon opening set in Tuesday’s battle between the neighboring rivals and then went on to win the next two sets to earn the sweep.
“We had a rough start to the night and were down 8-16 before battling back to claim the first set,” said NP coach Jynell Brunt, whose team rolled to wins in sets two and three.
Senior Kate Hanley led the offense with 13 kills and six aces, while junior captain Kiley McTaggart added nine kills, four aces and nine digs. Sophomore libero Leila Eid contributed 28 digs, and senior captain Charlotte Patterson had three aces, four kills, nine digs and 24 assists.
For the Indians, Alyssa Reiner led the way with nine kills, one ace and two digs. Setter Nikki Hamilton had 15 assists and seven digs. Alli Sauerwald contributed five kills, three aces and four digs, and Alexa Mazzeo had nine digs, two assists and three aces. Teya McConaha added one kill and two blocks.
The Knights(5-2) travel to Perkiomen Valley on Saturday to compete in the Rally in the Valley tournament and will face Lansdale Catholic and Quakertown next week.

PENNRIDGE 3, QUAKERTOWN 1
The Lady Rams got back into the win column with a victory over conference foe Quakertown.
“We received another stellar performance from senior outside hitter Allison Saalfrank with major contributions from senior outside hitter Carly Garis helping to push the Rams through to a four-set victory,” coach Brandon Johnson said. “Senior middle blocker Colette Paterson was also key to the victory while freshman setter Delaney Schwind lead the team in assists.”
CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 0 (25-22, 25-13, 25-16)
The Patriots used a team effort to earn a sweep of their neighboring rival.
Junior outside hitters contributing included Kat Malobisky (two kills, one assist, one ace, 12 digs), Megan Colbert (one block, eight digs, two aces, three kills, passer rating of 3.0) and Sam Sharp (one kill, three digs). Freshman outside Mia Metille added two digs. Junior middle Aimee Wolf (eight kills, five blocks) and Maddy Ware (10 kills, two blocks) both had big nights at the net. Senior right sides Kat Montabana (one block, three digs, three kills, one ace) and Brooke Bishop (one block) also contributed, and chipping in were defensive specialists Lexi Knorr (three digs) and Taryn Zakrezewski (one dig). Senior libero Chloe Metille had a stellar day with 15 digs, three aces, three assists and a passer rating of 2.8. Junior setter Katie Monaghan ran the offense with 27 assists, three blocks and two digs.
SOL American
HATBORO-HORSHAM 3, CHELTENHAM 0 (25-8, 25-10, 25-13)
Hatboro-Horsham extended its early season record to 4-0 with a sweep over visiting Cheltenham. The offense was led by junior outside hitter Kayla Jones with nine kills on 11 attempts with sophomore outside hitter Cassidy Hudson adding three to the mix. Senior setter Julie Reilly had 13 assists on the night with junior libero Elizabeth Morgan leading in digs as well as receiving. The Hatters had a huge night on the serving line with 33 aces in three sets, including 10 by Jade Lauzier, seven by Julie Reilly, and four each by Abigail Kosmalski, Ava Santo, and Emma O’Reilly. The Hatters take on New Hope Solebury at home on Thursday.
NEW HOPE-SOLEBURY 3, WISSAHICKON 1

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, METHACTON 1
The Golden Hawks received contributions up and down their lineup in their four-set non-league win over the Warriors.
Leading the Golden Hawks were Edan Kauer (seven kills, eight digs, five aces), Avery Vaughan (six kills, three blocks, three aces) and Nala Kauer (six kills). Lili Lauch (15 assists, six digs, two aces) and Gina Caraccio (11 assists, three digs) shared setting duties. Lindsey Korn led the defense with 14 digs and three aces. Sophia Ranieri added four kills and one block, Cadence Palmer had seven digs, and Shani Sun had five digs, one block, one ace and three kills.
