There were some exciting games and even one tie during the final week of the regular SHSHL season. Check out the recaps for ice hockey teams in action.

PENNRIDGE 5, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 4
Bryson Egan scored a power play goal with time winding down in the third period, breaking a 4-4 tie and propelling the Rams to the win in Friday’s thriller between a pair of SHSHL playoff-bound squads.
Eric Slater (two goals, two assists) and Patrick McGinley (one goal, two assists) led a balanced Pennridge offense, and Luke Stranick took care of business between the pipes, turning away 37 shots in a contest that saw the Golden Hawks hold a 41-31 advantage in shots.
Slater jump started the Rams when he scored an unassisted goal 8:22 into the opening period, and Pennridge led 2-0 after Michael Walker scored with assist from McGinley and Slater. A goal by Rock South’s Jeremy Siegel (Douglas Lopez) late in the period made it a 2-1 game.
Second period goals by McGinley (Slater, Walker assists) and Bill Harrelson (Dylan Feoli, Logan Hurwitz assists) kept the Rams on top 3-2 heading into the final period. Rock South appeared to seize control of the game when Andy Stoychev and Feoli scored back-to-back goals in a three-minute span early in the third period, but the Rams had an answer. The veteran duo of Slater and McGinley teamed up for a goal that knotted the score with Slater finding the net with the tying goal just over five minutes into the period, setting the stage of Egan’s game winner with 81 seconds remaining in regulation.
