CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 12, SOUDERTON 2 (6 innings)
Eight days after edging the Indians 1-0, the Titans exploded for 12 runs in the abbreviated rematch Wednesday.
“We made some adjustments at the plate,” South coach Kevin Rosini said. “Alex (Scheeler) is a good pitcher. You have to adjust a little bit.
“We did a better job of that today, seeing more pitches, going with the pitch, hitting it where she threw it. Instead of trying to pull everything, we kind of let her do the work, and we went with the pitch. We were a little more aggressive today. Seventeen hits – that’s a big difference.”
The Titans managed just four hits in the initial meeting.
Leading the Titans’ hit parade were Alex DeLeon (3-for-4, 2 RBIs, 3 runs), Katie Hines (3-for-4, 2B, 3 RBIs, 2 runs) and Maddie McShane (3-for-4, RBI). Freshman Nicole Pilla had a productive day with two doubles and four RBIs.
“She had a really good day,” Rosini said. “She’s been DHing and catching, and she’s done a really nice job.”
Olivia Robinson was 2-for-3 with a double and run scored, and Tara Tumasz also was 2-for-3 with a double, sacrifice bunt and two runs scored. The Titans had five doubles as a team.
Kylie Kenney earned the complete game win, allowing four hits and two runs (one earned) in six innings while striking out nine and walking three.
“This was a really nice win compared to 1-0, so I was much happier today,” Rosini said. “It was much less stress.”
For the Indians, Bri Neely was 2-for-3. Scheeler, who absorbed the loss in the circle, was 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk. Jess Lepore and Julia Kistler also had hits.
Central Bucks South (12-2, 7-2 SOL) will host William Tennent on Thursday, and Souderton (7-5, 3-5) will travel to Pennridge for a 6:30 p.m. contest Thursday.

NORTH PENN 15, LANSDALE CATHOLIC 3 (6 innings)
The Knights trailed 2-0 heading into the third inning when – sparked by Jamie Beer’s three-run home run – they plated six runs. A seven-run sixth was highlighted by Victoria Juckniewitz’s grand slam and a solo home run by Amanda Greaney which helped bring an early end to the game.
“It was a good game for us because we hadn’t seen a real fast pitcher in a while, and the LC pitcher is fast and she’s good,” coach Rick Torresani said. “Our hitting shoes were on today.”
The Knights collected 15 hits off sophomore Mary Picozzi, who fanned one and walked four.
Tori Chiu was 3-for-4 with a double, and Greeney was 3-for-3 with a double, home run, 2RBIs and two runs scored. Paige Paciolla was 3-for-4 with a double, RBI and run scored. Beer was 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs and a run scored, and Emily Groarke was 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
The Crusaders were led by Lauren Crim (2-for-4), Morgan Burns (2-for-4, RBI) and Rebecca Tiley (2-for-3, HR).

HATBORO-HORSHAM 9, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 0
The Hatters notched their sixth shutout in seven games. Twenty-four hours after tossing six shutout innings in the Hatters’ big win over Quakertown, junior Mikayla Fedele was back at it again, this time allowing just three hits in the complete game win. She fanned two and did not walk a batter, retiring 15 in a row at one point in the contest.
Once again, the Hatters took care of business early, scoring three runs in the first. For good measure they added four runs in the third and two more in the sixth.
Junior Brittany Hubler led the Hatters with a 3-for-4 effort at the plate that included a double and two RBIs. Her RBI double highlighted the three-run first. Kyleigh Dinnien (2-for-4, run), Alicia Tauber (2-for-3, 2 runs), Maddie Yeager (2-for-3, RBI, 2 runs) and Antoinette Spinosa (2-for-4, 2 RBIs) also turned in multi-hit performances.
Hailey Aspinwall’s 2-for-3 effort led the Patriots.
Hatboro-Horsham (12-1, 10-0 SOL) will host Wissahickon on Thursday, and Central Bucks East (5-8, 4-5) will travel to Central Bucks West Thursday.
