CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, NORTH PENN 2
The Maidens gave the visiting Bucks all they could handle, but the Bucks – who trailed 1-0 at the intermission – rallied for the win.
Emma Herb (Brianna O’Donnell assist) scored the only goal of the first half at the 21:01 mark. That 1-0 lead stood the remainder of the half.
The Bucks knotted the scored at the 26:18 mark of the second half when Cadera Smith found the cage on an unassisted goal. Fifty-nine seconds later, Smith scored the go-ahead goal – this time with a Taylor Mason assist. Mason (Anna Hall assist) tacked on an insurance goal at the 22:57 mark, capping a 3-0 West tear in a three-and-a-half minute span.
O’Donnell (Herb assist) made it a 3-2 game with a goal at the 11:23 mark, but neither team scored the rest of the way.
The Maidens held a 17-14 advantage in shots while the Bucks had a 7-6 edge in penalty corners.
West goalie Macella Molenari was credited with nine saves in the win while North Penn’s Brynnne Schoppe had 10 saves.
Central Bucks West (4-0, 3-0 SOL) will travel to Souderton on Wednesday while North Penn (0-4, 0-3) will be on the road at Quakertown.

HATBORO-HORSHAM 5, WISSAHICKON 0
After dropping their first two games of the season, the Hatters are finding their stride. Sparked by Syd Rausa’s hat trick, they raced to a 3-0 halftime lead on their way to the shutout win over the visiting Trojans on Tuesday.
Rausa put the Hatters on the scoreboard seven minutes into the first half, and when Heather Timm connected, using a Gabby Acker assist, the Hatters led 2-0. A goal in the closing seconds of the half by Lizzy Theurer (Rausa assist) sent the Hatters into halftime with a three-goal lead.
Rausa added a pair of second half goals, the first with a Kelsey Hopkins assist.
Hatboro-Horsham’s Liz Wilburn turned away seven shots in the shutout win. Wissahickon’s Claire Tarzia was credited with 16 saves. The Hatters held a 9-7 advantage in corners.
“We had smooth passing with lots of intensity and communication,” HH Laura Swezey said. “We had great transition in the midfield by Kelsey Hopkins, Keeley Henry, Gabby Acker and Syd Rausa.
“Kait Wallace had excellent stops in our defensive zone and transitioning out to the offense.”
Hatboro-Horsham (2-2, 1-1 SOL) will host Central Bucks East on Wednesday while Wissahickon (2-2, 2-0) will host Plymouth Whitemarsh.

UPPER MORELAND 4, ACADEMY OF THE NEW CHURCH 1
ANC opened up a 3-0 halftime lead, and although the Golden Bears played their hosts even the second half, they could not dig their way out of an early hole. Jenna Getz accounted for the Bears only goal, connecting at the 22:53 mark of the second half.
Allison Felicetti was credited with three saves in goal.
Upper Moreland (0-3) will host Upper Dublin on Wednesday.

GERMANTOWN ACADEMY 8, SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP 0
The Patriots dominated Tuesday’s non-league game from start to finish, opening up a 3-0 lead less than seven minutes into the game and taking a 5-0 lead into halftime. Carli McCrossen, Sammy Popper and Shayne Cerebe each had a pair of goals while Colleen Carrigan added a goal and an assist.
The Patriots had a 25-6 advantage in shots. Springfield goalie Isabelle Boles was credited with 15 saves.
Springfield (1-2) will host Cheltenham on Wednesday.
