CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 16, PENNSBURY 5
Since falling to Plymouth Whitemarsh in overtime in their season opener, the Titans have been on a bona fide tear, outscoring their opponents 48-16 in three straight wins.
In Tuesday’s SOL opener, the Falcons hung tough for one half, trailing the Titans by just a 6-3 score, but the Titans exploded for 10 second-half goals on their way to yet another decisive win.
“We were a little sloppy at the start, but we pulled it together eventually,” coach Janique Craig said. “I am very proud of the girls and the way they played today for our first league win.”
Senior Courtney Dietzel had a big game for the Titans, finishing with six goals and three assists. Sara Poli added four goals and four assists. Tori Wigand had a pair of goals while Kasey Dietzel contributed one goal and three assists. Krysta Reading had one goal and two assists and Courtney Taylor, one goal and one assist. Kristen Berntsen also had one goal.
For the Falcons, Missy Frankil and Lily Nolan both had a pair of goals while Nell Webber added a single goal. Sarah Benzinger was credited with an assist to close out the scoring.
South goalie Erin Putnam was credited with five saves in a winning performance.
Central Bucks South (3-1, 1-0 SOL) will travel to North Penn on Thursday while Pennsbury (0-1 SOL) will be on the road at Abington on Wednesday.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 13, QUAKERTOWN 3
Hannah Inchausti scored six goals in a strong offensive outing to lead the Golden Hawks to the decisive win. Neena Culleton and Mary Kate Simpson each added a pair of goals, and Anna DiDonato and Julia Pero both had one goal.
Katie Rafter assisted on a pair while Paige Schmid, Sarah Womer and Tori Wright all had one helper as nine Hawks put their names in the scoring column.
Chloe Wszolek was credited with 15 saves in a superb outing in goal for the Golden Hawks.
Council Rock South (1-3, 1-1 SOL) will take on Council Rock North in the annual battle of neighboring rivals on Thursday. Quakertown (1-4, 0-1) will be on the road at Souderton on Thursday.
SOUDERTON 20, NESHAMINY 3
Showing no ill effects from their season-opening loss to Plymouth Whitemarsh, the visiting Indians opened up an 11-1 halftime lead on their way to a resounding win over the Redskins in Tuesday’s SOL opener.
Four Souderton players – Leah Goodwin, Maddie Knight, Sarah Goodwin and Carlie Doughty – scored three goals each. Leah Goodwin also handed out six assists while Maddie Knight had a pair of helpers and Sarah Goodwin, one assist. Katie Halteman and Megan Walbrandt both added a pair of goals while Riley McGowan, Krista Schneider, Jenny Unowski and Julianna Ofalt each scored one goal. Schneider added a pair of assists, and McGowan also had an assist. Kate Mardi chipped in an assist to close out the scoring.
Sarah Goodwin also had five draw controls.
Souderton (1-1, 1-0 SOL) will host Quakertown in its Pink Game on Thursday (6 p.m.). Neshaminy (1-1, 0-1) will host Central Bucks West on Thursday.

CHELTENHAM 14, LOWER MORELAND 7
The Lady Panthers raced to a 12-2 lead over the visiting Lions on their way to the no-doubt-about-it non-league win.
Marycait Dorley led the Panthers with four goals and two assists, and Carly Waldman added three goals and two assists. Amber Turner and Carissa Dorley both added two goals, and Dana Shelton and Haley Wilson each had one goal and one assist. Brianna Younger added a goal with an assist from Corinne Packel.
Lexi Kauffman had four goals to lead the Lions.
Morgan Sloan was credited with seven saves in goal for the Lady Panthers.
Cheltenham (2-1) will host New Hope-Solebury on Wednesday in a non-league contest.
