CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 9, PENNRIDGE 8
For the second time this season, the Bucks edged the Rams – this time winning by just one goal after earning a 10-8 win in the initial meeting.
Will Ross had a big night to lead the Bucks, finishing with four goals and two assists. Dawson Gable added a pair of goals while Jake Greenberg, Joey Rockovich and Ben Sexauer each added single goals. Contributing one assist each were Jack Darcy, Nick Werner and Brandon Gervais.
The Bucks got off to a quick start, opening up a 4-1 lead after one quarter, but the Rams erased that in a hurry with a 5-1 second quarter to go into halftime with a 6-5 lead. The Bucks rebounded to score a pair of goals in the third quarter and took a 7-6 lead into a fourth quarter that saw the two teams exchange goals.
Bobby Maher led the Rams with five goals. Chris Warner and Ryan Garner both added a goal and two assists. Nick Fanelli had one goal while Kyle Fanelli added a pair of assists.
Denton States recorded 13 saves in goal for the Rams while Steve Hogan turned away 12 shots in a winning effort for the Bucks.
Central Bucks West (9-2, 5-1 SOL) will host Souderton on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., and Pennridge (5-5, 2-5) will be on the road at Central Bucks South on Wednesday.

Eleven players put their names in the scoring column in the Ghosts’ win at Truman. John Petriccione led the way with five goals and two assists. Tim Burke had two goals and one assist, and Ryan Tuffy added one goal and two assists. Marco McAfee had a pair of goals while Ryan Herman had a goal and an assist. Scoring single goals were Kevin Fitzgerald, Nate Rose and Joe Lindley. Dominic Ricciardi added a pair of assists, and Mike Dambra and Casey Hesdon each chipped in one assist.
For the Tigers, Ricky Tran had a pair of goals. Ryan King and Jake Sutchko both added a single goal, and Kyle Huth was credited with an assist.
Connor Reed was credited with four saves in the first half, and Ethan Walter had six in the second half as the duo combined for the win in goal.
Abington (2-7, 2-3 SOL) will host Central Bucks West on Wednesday, and Harry S Truman (3-6, 0-6) will host Neshaminy on Friday.
OXFORD 15, CHELTENHAM 7
Oxford opened up a 4-1 lead after one quarter and took a 6-1 lead into halftime. The Hornets put the game out of reach with a 7-1 burst in the third quarter before the Panthers answered with five goals in the fourth quarter.
Tim McHugh led the Panthers with four goals, one assist and six ground balls. Brian Noel had one goal, one assist and eight ground balls. Jacque Fisher added one goal, and Daniel Lee had one goal, six ground balls and won 13-of-21 face-offs.
Kieran Boyle recorded 15 saves in goal and also contributed an assist – his third of the year.
Cheltenham (0-10, 0-7 SOL) will host Springfield on Tuesday.

Central Bucks South defeated Holy Ghost Prep 10-7 in an exciting late afternoon game at Titans Stadium. Leading the scoring for South was Evan Falkowski with four goals and one assist. Dante Poli and Justin Abbonizio had two goals each. Dan Mignogna tallied one goal and two assists. Austin Novick scored one goal, and Mike Dutkiewicz and Joe Vitelli each had an assist.
The Titians grabbed 30 ground balls. Leading the way with six ground balls was Joe Vitelli. Poli and Falkowski had four each while Andrew Baer, Connor Grant, Mark Lumb, and Andrew Fratangeli each had two. Dutkiewicz, Novick, Matt Franks, Ian Vogt, Noah Mokrynchuk, Chris Surina, Brad Ross and Matt Lo Stracco each had one ground ball.
The Titans were able to win 12-of-20 face offs. Mark Lumb won 8-of-14 Noah Mokrynchuk won 4-of-6.
Brad Ross played well in goal with five saves for CB South.

The Trojans edged the Monarchs in a tightly contested non-league game pitting the neighboring rivals.
“It was a back and forth game,” Wissahickon coach Patty Kovacs said. “We needed this win.
“It was just a great game to watch. Both teams played phenomenally. They both played their hearts out. I was thrilled with the outcome.”
The Trojans, who led 6-5 at halftime, opened up a 9-6 lead only to watch the Monarchs rally to knot the score 9-9. With 8:27 remaining, the Trojans led 11-9, but the Monarchs pulled within one with four minutes remaining.
“With four minutes left, we held the ball for a while, but we lost it with maybe 15 seconds left,” Kovacs said. “They drove all the way down, but we ended up getting it back. It was crazy.”
Shannon Stagliano, Emily Vervlied and Carolyn Wilde each had three goals. Vervlied and Wilde also contributed two assists each and Stagliano had one assist. Mary Matthews and Caty Santucci each netted one goal, and Claire Tarzia had an assist.
“The entire team contributed to the win,” Kovacs said.
Hustling to ground balls were Vervlied with five, Megan DeGroat had four, Wilde had three, Matthew, Tarzia and Talia Abrahams had two, and Kelly Dickson and Stagliano each had one.
Goalie Kyra Myers was credited with three saves.
Wissahickon (6-4, 4-1 SOL) will be on the road at Upper Moreland on Thursday.

ARCHBISHOP WOOD 8, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 7
The Golden Hawks hung with the undefeated Vikings, knotting the score on several occasions before falling just short.
“We played a great game today against Wood,” coach Ashley Fox said. “Everyone was involved and connected nicely up and down the field.”
Hannah Inchausti had a big game for the Hawks, contributing four goals and two assists. Neena Culleton and Paige Schmid both added a goal and assist, and Mary Kate Simpson contributed a single goal. Emily Keller and Sarah Womer each chipped in an assist.
“Sarah Womer, Paige Schmid and Katie Rafter controlled the ground balls throughout the game,” Fox said. “Steph Jin and Tori Wright created caused turnovers in the midfield that were huge.
“Today was not a win, but I am proud of my girls.”
Council Rock South (2-7, 1-4 SOL) will be on the road at Central Bucks East on Wednesday.
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 14, SOUTHERN LEHIGH 4
The Bucks rebounded from back-to-back losses to earn a decisive non-league win, controlling play from the opening draw.
Bryn Boylan led a balanced West attack with four goals while freshman Casey Reichwein added three goals and one assist. Chloe Miller-Russo had a pair of goals. Contributing single goals were Meghan Darcy, Dani Dundas, Liv Fitzgerald, Maddie Maio and Kelly O’Callaghan. Dundas also had a pair of assists while Maio, O’Callaghan and Finley Ueland had one each.
“We just came off two tough games, and it was nice to see so many people contribute,” coach Tara Schmucker said. “Bryn (Boylan) did an excellent job on the draw with 10, and Molly Naylor had a great second half with seven saves.”
Central Bucks West (7-4, 4-1 SOL) will travel to Quakertown on Tuesday.

The Patriots trailed by just two at halftime (7-5) but were outscored by the Rams 9-3 in the second half.
Maggie Vetter finished with the hat trick while Riley Donnelly had two goals and two assists. Whitney Dietz added two goals, and Katelyn Stout had one goal. Mel Burian and Cailey Lever each had one assist.
Lauren Maurer turned in a stellar outing in goal, turning away 16 of 32 shots.
Central Bucks East (4-6, 2-4 SOL) will host Council Rock South on Wednesday.

Devon Mela scored four goals and assisted on two others to lead the Indians. Anna Lehman and Claire Jarema both had four goals. Jarema saved her best for last, scoring the final two goals in regulation and then scoring the game winner in OT. She also had one assist.
Greta Rolli and Megan Haggerty each added one goal to close out the scoring.
Goalie Margaret D’Auria was credited with 12 saves on 25 shots in a strong outing, preserving the tie with a pair of clutch saves in OT.
