CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 7, ABINGTON 6
Brigitte Bishop and Riley Forman scored two goals each as the Patriots bested the Galloping Ghosts on Friday. Bishop added two assists. Quinn Ferry had a goal and two assists. Mackenzie Boyle and Katie Powell also scored goals.
Natalie McNamara and Kaley Ehnow scored twice for the Galloping Ghosts. Abby Thomas and Lauren Van Buren both scored a single goal. Jamira Mashore added two assists and Van Buren one.
The Ghosts won 9-of-15 draws, and Ellie Hughes had seven saves in goal.
“She made some key saves when we were in a high-pressure defense to give us possession,” said Abington coach Mary Liz Klepper. “We are staying positive and staying in the present, working one day at a time.”
Central Bucks East (2-1) will travel to Emmaus on Monday for a non-league contest. Abington (0-3) will host Great Valley Monday in a non-league contest.
CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 15, HATBORO-HORSHAM 5
Anna Green and Kasey Deitzel contributed five goals and three assists each to lead the Titans to their third win in as many outings. Francine Richick scored three goals for South, Deanna Bongarzone and Ashley Gammon one each. Richick also had two assists, Gammon and Bongarzone one each.
Olivia Himmelstein had seven draw controls and four ground balls, Jennings four draw controls and five ground balls. Megan Weeks had four ground balls, Caroline Brauckman two, Bongarzone and Gammon one each.
Audrey Leibfreid collected a hat trick for the Hatters, Gabby Liott twice. Gianna Belfatti added an assist. Liott and Cam Ryan had three draw controls each. The Hatters went scoreless in the second half in a contest that saw the Titans open up a 10-5 halftime lead.
Central Bucks South (2-0) will host Wissahickon in a non-league game Monday, and Hatboro-Horsham (0-3) will host Pennsbury in a non-league contest Monday.Hatboro-Horsham 5 0—5

PENNSBURY 17, VILLA JOSEPH MARIE 4
The 2018 Pennsbury girls’ lacrosse team has played two games and is halfway to equaling last year's win total.
For the second time in two games, Pennsbury defeated a team it lost to a year ago as it got six goals and four assists from Annie Price and another six goals and an assist from Lily Nolan to roll past Villa Joseph Marie 17-4 Friday afternoon.
VJM's Grace Hageman scored twice, including the 100th goal of her career.
Pennsbury, coming off a 4-13 season, opened with a win over a Wissahickon team it lost to a year ago by six goals and then the win over VJM, who beat Pennsbury by five in 2017.
The Falcons came out flying, as Price took the opening draw and fed Nolan for a goal just 12 seconds in. Price then scored her first on the next possession, making it 2-0 less than a minute in. By halftime Price had four goals and four assists and the score was 12-4.
Emelie Curtis had two goals and two assists for the second straight game for Pennsbury, while Brooke Weaver had two goals and an assist and Sarah Mac Davis had one of each.
Kelley Connor also had two goals for Villa.
Pennsbury outshot Villa 33-12, and Villa goalie Samantha O'Hara made 11 saves.
Pennsbury (2-0) is at Hatboro-Horsham Monday night.
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 16, DOWNINGTOWN WEST 12
Finley Ueland turned in an inspired performance, scoring eight goals to lead the Bucks to their fifth straight win without defeat.
Maddie Maio, Dani Dundas, and Liv Fitzgerald scored twice each while Abby Natoli and Kelly O’ Callahan scored once each.
Dundas added three assists, while Lauren Ring made seven saves in goal. Natoli collected five ground balls.
Peyton Mottice, Corinne Bednarick and Emily Feeney provided three goals each for the Whippets. Tabitha Rodriguez scored twice and Aliza Thir once. Mottice added two assists.
“(It was) not our best defensive effort today, especially in the last 10 minutes” said West coach Tara Schmucker, whose team led 6-4 at the intermission. “But (our) offense had a strong second half. Finley Ueland was on a mission and seemed unstoppable in the second half. She kept us in the lead even when we had some lapses defensively.”
Central Bucks West (5-0) will host Upper Dublin in a non-league contest Monday at 7 p.m.

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP 17, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 1
The Spartans, who won for the third time in as many outings, controlled play from start to finish, opening up a 12-1 halftime lead and never looking back.Emily Walsh scored six goals and helped out with two draw controls to lead the Spartans. Lindsey Smith had four goals and an assist, along with seven draw controls. Ella Marino provided three goals and an assist. Allie Cottone scored twice. Ellie Hamilton scored one goal, assisted on 10 others, had six draw controls, and collected a ground ball. Maddie Yoder scored a goal, had two draw controls, and caused two turnovers. Sophie Perry had two assists. Mollie McGoldrick recovered a ground ball and caused two turnovers.
Annie Ryan had three saves in goal in a winning effort for the Spartans.
Springfield Township (3-0) will host New Hope-Solebury in a non-league game Tuesday.

UPPER DUBLIN 14, PENNRIDGE 10
Mack Moore scored goals four goals as the Flying Cardinals won for the fourth time in five starts on Friday night. Lindsey Schreiber had three goals and an assist, Maddie Templeton added two goals and two assists. Becky Browndorf contributed two goals and an assist while Julia Reardon had a goal and an assist. Aly Breslin and Jenn McCarry scored one goal each. Sarah Herchenroder had three saves in goal.
Grace Loughery and Jenna Lund scored four times each for Pennridge, with Loughery adding an assist.
Upper Dublin (4-1) will travel to Central Bucks West on Monday for a non-league contest, and Pennridge (1-2) will be on the road at Pope John Paul II on Tuesday for a non-league game.

RADNOR 13, PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 12
A late goal gave the host Raiders the win in Friday’s tightly-contested non-league game.
“The lead went back and forth throughout the game,” PW coach Ellen Reilly said. “It was a game for us that had its ups and downs.
“(We) did some really good things offensively and defensively. In the end, Radnor scored last.”
Vic Betterly and Lexi Petrakis scored three goals each for the Colonials. Max Leszczynski and Sophie Kolkka two each, Raquel Baskin and Ali Diamond one each.
Diamond contributed five assists, Kolkka three, Betterly and Baskin one each. Meghan Ely made six saves in goal for the Colonials.
