Check out the recaps for SOL boys’ soccer games in action Friday.

SOL National Conference
NESHAMINY 1, BENSALEM 0
Gavin Rowan converted a penalty kick in the 60th minute, and that proved to be the difference in the game. It was Rowan who drew the PK with a standout individual effort.
“Gavin Rowan made a phenomenal move to free himself in the box,” coach Tom Foley said. “He went in on the keeper, and as he was shooting, he was taken down in the box.”
The Redskins, according to Foley, had several good chances to get on the board in the first half but could not cash in.
“We picked up the play more in the second half, winning more of the balls,” the Redskins’ coach said. “We played a solid defensive game led by captain Kais Jawawdeh.
“We are looking to keep playing consistent soccer and keep improving for the remainder of the season.”
Neshaminy (7-5, 6-3 SOL) will host Holy Ghost Prep in a non-league game on Monday, and Bensalem (4-7, 3-6) will host Harry S Truman on Thursday.

ABINGTON 3, CHELTENHAM 0
The Ghosts maintained their stronghold on the top spot in the conference standings with their third consecutive shutout.
The two teams battled to a scoreless tie at the intermission, but the Ghosts took control in the second half. Sean Touey had a pair of goals and Liam Friel added a single goal for the 3-0 final.
Abington (13-1, 9-1 SOL) will host Plymouth Whitemarsh on Tuesday, and Cheltenham (6-5-1, 5-4-1) will travel to Council Rock South for a non-league game Monday.
Non-league
QUAKERTOWN 4, NORRISTOWN 0
The Panthers took a 1-0 lead into halftime and then blew the game wide open with three second-half goals.
“Our performances have improved over the last five games, and we’ve not really gotten the results we deserve,” said coach Lee Bishop, whose team notched its first win since edging Palisades 2-1 Sept. 11. “I’m very happy we were able to get the win today and hope we can build on it as we have some tough games to finish the season.”
Four players contributed goals for the Panthers. Adam Wunsch, Glenn Moyer, Jake Schwartz and Brendan Kishbaugh each found the back of the net. Kishbaugh’s came on a penalty kick.
The Panthers could have had more had it not been for the 15-save effort of Norristown’s keeper.
James Nagle recorded five saves in goal for the Panthers to earn his first clean sheet of the season, and Bishop lauded the efforts of his defense.
“The defense – Nate Besch, Shane Ruth and Bali Schmidt – played very well, and Norristown rarely threatened,” Bishop said.
Quakertown (2-11, 0-8 SOL) will host North Penn on Tuesday.
Norristown 0-0 0
Quakertown 1-3 4
PENNSBURY 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 2 (2 OT)
The visiting Falcons won a thriller when Nyles Cayemitte connected for his second goal of the game in the second overtime period.
Overtime was the last thing on anyone’s mind when the Falcons opened up a 2-0 halftime lead, thanks to goals by Leo Pineda and Cayemitte.
The Patriots came roaring back. Junior Nolan Case scored with an assist from senior Keegan Cannon to make it a 2-1 game, and the score was deadlocked 2-2 when Cannon scored on a penalty kick. That 2-2 score stood until Cayemitte’s game-winner.
Pennsbury (6-5-1, 4-3-1 SOL) will host Central Bucks South in a non-league game on Monday, and Central Bucks East (1-11-1, 1-7-0) will be on the road at Souderton on Tuesday.
