Souderton 16, Quakertown 5
An eight-goal third quarter broke open a close game and propelled Souderton to a 16-5 win over Quakertown in Friday’s SOL Crossover nonleague game.
Aly Hassett was all over the field for the Indians, scooping up a team-leading seven ground balls while scoring three goals, assisting on six others, causing one turnover and winning four draw controls.
Souderton trailed 3-2 after one quarter, but put on a defensive clinic thereafter, holding the Panthers scoreless through both the second and third quarters.

North Penn 6, Abington 5
North Penn rebounded from its season-opening loss by edging Abington 6-5 in Friday’s SOL Crossover nonleague game. The Knights jumped out to a 3-0 lead, then used solid defense to keep the Ghosts from completing the comeback.
Caylynn Thompson made seven saves for the Knights. Maddie Gorman led the offense with three goals.

Central Bucks West 21, Easton Area 1
Nine different players scored as Central Bucks West dominated Easton Area to the tune of 21-1 in Friday’s nonleague game.
Olivia Barrett led the Bucks with five goals and also picked up 10 draw controls. Ainsley Shissler had seven draw controls to go along with three goals and two assists.
