Delaware Valley University outfielder Kyle Wenger (Souderton) received D3baseball.com Preseason
All-America honorable mention for the second straight year. Wenger also earned the honor prior to the 2015 season in which he batted .432 with 36 runs, eight doubles, five triples, five home runs and 29 runs batted in. He also swiped 22 bases. Wenger led the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom in slugging percentage (.712) and on-base percentage (.517) while tying for first in triples and ranking second in batting average and stolen bases, tying for third in home runs, tying for fifth in runs scored and ranking seventh in hits (51) and eighth in RBIs. He was named the MAC Freedom Player of the Year and to the D3baseball.com All-Mid-Atlantic first team.
A pair of former SOL standouts teamed up on the mound to lead Monmouth to a 6-4 win over No. 8 Virginia on Sunday. Junior Ricky Dennis (Central Bucks South) earned the win, allowing eight hits and two runs while walking one and fanning two in six innings of work. Sophomore Justin Andrews (Neshaminy) earned the save, allowing five hits and two runs (one earned) while striking out two and walking one in three innings of relief.
East Stroudsburg redshirt junior shortstop Conner Crookham (Hatboro-Horsham) was named the PSAC
East Baseball Athlete of the Week and the NCBWA (National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association) NCAA DII Hitter of the Week for the week ending Feb. 28 for his performance in the Warriors’ three wins in Virginia. Crookham reached base safely in 11-of-14 plate appearances in wins vs. California (14-1), Post (22-3) and Shepherd (19-1). The Warriors finished the trip with an 18-0 win vs. West Chester. Crookham hit 6-for-9 with five walks, seven RBIs and eight runs in the three games during the reporting week. He hit two home runs vs. California and a grand slam vs. Shepherd. He was lifted early in both games on Sunday due to the score. He was 3-for-5 with a home run, walk, two RBIs and 13 runs vs. California, 2-for-3 with two walks, a stolen base, RBI and three runs vs. Post and 1-for-1 with his grand slam, two walks, four RBIs and two runs vs. Shepherd. Crookham had a .786 on-base percentage and 1.333 slugging percentage in the middle of an ESU lineup that scored 55 runs over three games. He is ESU’s first NCBWA region hitter of the week since second baseman Joe Bennie in 2013. Outfielder Chris Knott was recognized in 2012. The Warriors have had five pitchers combine for seven weekly awards since 2011. Overall, Crookham is hitting .556 (10-for-18) with a .680 on-base percentage and 1.000 slugging percentage through ESU’s first eight games. He has two doubles, two home runs, nine RBIs, 11 runs and seven walks. Crookham made his ESU debut last spring after transferring from Division I Old Dominion. He played in 24 games, missing a significant part of the season due to injury, and hit .438/.477/.763 with 13 extra-base hits (six home runs), 23 RBI and 23 runs when he was in the lineup. He hit 10-for-23 with two doubles, three home runs, nine RBIs and 10 runs in five games in the PSAC Tournament, helping the Warriors reach the PSAC championship game for the second time in three years.
Crookham was 3-for-8 with two RBIs and three runs in East Stroudsburg’s doubleheader sweep of Pitt-Johnstown (10-4 & 12-2) on Sunday. ESU entered the weekend as the DII leader in runs per game (15.1) and has scored double-digit runs in nine of its 10 games (143 runs). The Warriors were also ranked second in DII in home runs per game (2.25) and on-base percentage (.531), third in slugging percentage (.703) and fourth in batting average (.427) through the end of February. In last Monday’s 18-10 win over West Chester in Virginia, redshirt junior Casey Saverio (Hatboro-Horsham) hit a solo home run. Saverio was 7-for-17 (.412) during the team’s Virginia trip with four home runs and 10 RBIs with seven runs scored.
Catcher Nick Bein (Abington) delivered an RBI double in Elizabethtown’s 7-6 win over Northwestern (Minn.) on Friday in Fort Pierce, Fla. In Tuesday’s 17-7 win over Immaculata, Brennan Snyder (Central Bucks West) was 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and one RBI. In Monday’s 7-1 win over Immaculata, Ryan Schamp (Central Bucks West) delivered a three-run triple to put the Jays on top 5-0. In Elizabethtown’s 13-12 loss to Immaculata in the second game of the day Monday, Snyder contributed an RBI double.
Justin Jacko (Pennsbury) contributed a two-run single in La Salle’s 10-3 loss to Presbyterian in the series finale on Sunday at the PC Baseball Complex in Clinton, S.C. In Friday’s 6-3 win over Presbyterian, freshman Jared Melone (North Penn) contributed a two-out double with the bases loaded in the seventh to plate three runs and put the Explorers on top 5-2.
Joey Nieves-Markee (Bensalem) had a pair of RBIs in Cairn University’s 11-6 win at Stockton University on Tuesday.
Eric Lane (Hatboro-Horsham) contributed a one-out double in the ninth inning that ignited a two-run uprising in Kutztown’s 2-1 win over Fairmont State University in Wilson, N.C., on Sunday.
Sophomore Matt Meyers (Cheltenham) was 2-for-3 with two runs and a double in Penn State Abington’s 8-6 loss to SUNY Canton on Saturday in the second game of the Clemente Cup in Puerto Rico. Anthony Pletscher (North Penn) and Pat Fitzgerald (Central Bucks South) both had RBI singles. In Friday’s opening game of the Clemente Cup, the Nittany Lions fell to University of Pittsburgh Greensburg 11-5. Fitzgerald led the Nittany Lions, going 2-for-4 with a run scored and RBI. Max German (Council Rock North) added two stolen bases. In Wednesday’s 10-3 loss to Rutgers-Camden, freshman catcher Max Perilstein (Cheltenham) led the Nittany Lions, finishing the game 2-for-4 with two RBIs. In Monday’s 11-1 loss to Rutgers-Newark, junior Trey Guaglionona (Abington) went 2-for-3 with two singles and a walk. Fitzgerald contributed an RBI single to account for the Nittany Lions’ only run.
Junior pitcher Casey O’Donnell (Hatboro-Horsham) allowed eight hits in seven innings while walking one and striking out nine in Philadelphia University’s 3-1 loss to Davis and Elkins College on Saturday.
Junior Greg McDonough (Wissahickon) delivered a two-run double and scored a run in Widener’s 6-5 win over Immaculata on Saturday.
Patrick Campion (Norristown) contributed a hit and three RBIs in Chestnut Hill’s 7-2 win over West Virginia Wesleyan in game one of a doubleheader on Saturday in the final day of the team’s spring training trip to Ft. Pierce, Fla. Austin DiBonaventure (Plymouth Whitemarsh) added a hit and RBI. In Thursday’s 8-6 loss to Florida Institute of Technology, Robert Slagle III (Plymouth Whitemarsh) was 2-for-2 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored.
MEN’S BASKETBALL
John Brown University senior Luke Moyer (Souderton) received All-Sooner Athletic Conference honorable
mention recognition. The Souderton graduate finished the regular season second on the team with 15.1 points per game and made most of his buckets from behind the arc. Finishing 92-of-235 (39.1 percent) from beyond the arc, Moyer is eighth in the nation in NAIA Division One for three-pointers made per game this season with 3.07 and eighth with 92 made three-pointers in 30 games.
Moyer connected on a three-pointer with 2.1 seconds left in regulation to propel John Brown University to a 98-89 win over Science & Arts (Okla.) in its final home game of the season. Interestingly, Moyer also made JBU’s first basket of the season – a three-pointer – in the team’s 35th annual Toilet Paper Game presented by Charmin. After JBU scored its first basket, fans tossed toilet paper onto the court, which resulted in a technical foul and two free throws for the visiting team. In Wednesday’s opening round 81-62 win over St. Gregory’s (Okla.), Moyer scored 15 points, which included three triples.
Villanova senior Ryan Arcidiacono (Neshaminy) earned second team All-BIG EAST honors. The 6-3 senior
guard, who has been a team leader for four seasons, is averaging 11.7 points and 4.5 assists and has helped guide the Wildcats to three straight BIG EAST regular season titles and a BIG EAST Tournament crown last year. He is shooting 81.8 percent from the foul line. Last year, Arcidiacono shared BIG EAST Player of the Year honors with Providence’s Kris Dunn.
Arcidiacono contributed 16 points, five assists and five rebounds in No. 3 Villanova’s 84-71 win over Georgetown in its regular season finale before a sellout crowd of 20,173 at the Wells Fargo Center. The Neshaminy grad left the court to a standing ovation in the final minutes of the game.
With 5.2 seconds remaining in overtime, freshman Matt Penecale (Abington) dribbled the length of the court and put up a floater that hit nothing but net as time expired, giving West Chester a 90-89 overtime win over IUP in the PSAC semifinals on Saturday. Penecale led the team on a comeback from a margin as big as 18 points in the first half. The Abington graduate matched his career high with 18 points on 6-of-9 shooting. In Sunday’s 70-67 loss to Mercyhurst in the PSAC title game, Penecale contributed 10 points, five assists and four rebounds. The team is headed to the NCAAs for the first time since 2014.
Kutztown junior forward Josh Johnson (Norristown) was named PSAC East Athlete of the Year and voted to the Eastern Division’s First team. The Norristown grad is the 14th best scorer in the PSAC with an average of 14.8. He also has 8.6 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. Johnson has scored in double digits 23 times this season and has nine double-doubles. The junior forward was named a team captain for the Golden Bears and was awarded with All-PSAC second team honors last year. It was the first Athlete
of the Year awarded to Kutztown since the 2009-10 season. It was also the first time since 2012-13 that KU has had a player named to the first team.
Kutztown redshirt junior Ryan Connolly (Souderton) was named to the All-PSAC East Second Team. The Souderton graduate was one of the best three-point shooters in the conference this season, knocking down 44.4 percent of his attempts (63-for-142, third in PSAC). The redshirt junior is averaging 12.7 points and 3.7 rebounds. Connolly was also one of the best free throw shooters in the PSAC, converting on 87.1 percent
of his chances (third).
Kutztown redshirt freshman Anthony Lee (Abington) was named to the All-PSAC East second team. The Abington graduate was one of the top freshmen in the conference. He is averaging 13.1 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. Lee is second in the PSAC in free throw shooting, converting 88 percent of his attempts.
Johnson scored 19 points and also had seven rebounds and two steals in Kutztown’s 74-72 loss to Shippensburg in a PSAC quarterfinal on Tuesday. Lee recorded his second double-double of the season with 13 points and a career-high 11 rebounds.
Sophomore Aaron Burton (Cheltenham) scored 10 points in DeSales University’s 76-74 loss to Neumann University in the ECAC semifinals on Saturday afternoon.
McDaniel College senior Wes Brooks (North Penn) was named to the All-Centennial Conference first team. A guard, Brooks is making his second all-conference appearance after being tabbed honorable mention in 2014. The North Penn graduate was second on the team and fifth in the conference in scoring, averaging 14.9 points per game. He also led the team with 64 three-pointers. A 46.7 percent shooter from long distance, he shot 48.4 percent from the floor and 85.3 percent from the free throw line. His three-point percentage leads the conference while his free throw percentage ranked second. He also handed out 44 assists and led the league with 62 steals.
Senior Jaylen Bond (Plymouth Whitemarsh) secured his ninth double-double of the season with 10 points and 16 rebounds in Temple’s 64-56 win at Tulane on Sunday to capture the American Athletic Conference regular season title. In Thursday’s 72-62 Senior Night win over Memphis, Bond posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Senior Julian Hyden (Bensalem) had a game-high 27 points and 10 rebounds in Gwynedd Mercy’s 78-77 loss to Oswego State Saturday night in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Aaron Morgan (Council Rock North) contributed five points, four rebounds and two assists. In Friday’s 86-85 opening round win over Marietta College, Hyden scored 23 points and Morgan added eight.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
American University junior Lauren Crisler (North Penn) was chosen as a third team All-Patriot League honoree. It is her first all-league honor. The North Penn graduate emerged as the Eagles’ top scorer in 2015-16, leading the team with 9.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per contest. She ranks among the Patriot leaders in rebounding and field goal percentage (.460) and has registered a team-best 14 double-figure scoring games this season.
Senior Ciara ‘CC’ Andrews (Cheltenham) contributed a team-high 20 points and added four assists, four rebounds and a steal in St. Joseph’s 81-76 loss to 10th-seeded Rhode Island in the second round of the 2016 Atlantic 10 Championship on Thursday.
Princeton senior Alex Wheatley (Council Rock South) was named the Ivy League Co-Player of the Week
for the week ending Feb. 28. It is Wheatley’s third career Player of the Week award and second this season. She began her weekend with a 10-point outing on 5-of-7 shooting in the Tigers’ 29-point victory over Columbia. The senior forward also added two rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks. The senior tri-captain connected on 11-of-14 shots from the field (78.6 percent) and set a new career high with 23 points in Princeton’s win over Cornell. Even more impressive is the fact that Wheatley scored 23 points in just 19 minutes of play. Her 11 field goals made is also a personal best. The senior had five rebounds as the Tigers picked up their 21st win of the season. For the weekend, Wheatley went 16-of-21 (76.2 percent) in only 37 minutes of action and averaged 16.5 points per game.
Wheatley missed just one shot in six attempts, finishing with 12 points in Princeton’s 79-69 win over Harvard on Friday. It was the team’s 24th straight win at home.
Sophomore Alysha Lofton (Central Bucks South) converted a three-point play with 30 seconds to play in overtime, and No. 8 Albright secured a spot in the Sweet 16 with a 69-66 victory over Montclair State in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday at Panzer Athletic Center in Montclair, N.J. Lofton finished with 12 points and nine rebounds. Albright will meet Tufts on Friday at a site to be determined. In Friday’s 76-46 opening round win over Husson, Emily O’Donnell (William Tennent) contributed 10 points and eight rebounds while Lofton added eight points and 10 rebounds.

Senior Chris Schneekloth (Central Bucks East) went 12-for-21 at the face-off spot and secured four ground balls in No. 11 Cabrini’s 12-11 win over Dickinson on Saturday.
WOMEN’S LACROSSE
Cortnee Daley (Hatboro-Horsham) scored three goals in No. 11 Louisville’s 10-9 overtime upset of No. 4 Notre Dame on Friday. The Cardinals improved to 7-0 on the year and 2-0 in ACC play, marking the best start in school history. In Thursday’s 10-4 win over No. 10 Northwestern, Daley had three goals.
Senior defender Caroline Hagan (Hatboro-Horsham) recorded four ground balls and was credited with two caused turnovers in St. Joseph’s 11-9 loss to Wagner on Saturday.
Senior Brenda McDermott (North Penn) recorded her second hat trick of the season, leading Temple with five goals and an assist in the Owls’ 19-9 win at UMBC on Saturday. In Tuesday’s 12-7 win over Wagner, McDermott scored one goal.

Sophomore Jen Bergey (Souderton) had three saves in her second consecutive start in goal. In Wednesday’s 12-8 win over Holy Family, Bergey picked up her first career win with a complete game, recording seven saves on 17 shots faced. Bowman contributed a goal.
SOFTBALL
Senior Morgan Decker (Central Bucks South) went 3-for-3 and became Lehigh’s leader in home runs to
help the Mountain Hawks to a 9-0 five-inning win over Albany Sunday in the final game at the Winthrop Invitational in Rock Hill, S.C. Decker’s 26th career home run and third in as many days sparked the Lehigh offense. In two games on Saturday, Decker picked up a pair of hits, including a three-run home run in Lehigh’s 8-5 win over Charlotte. Lehigh also defeated Albany 5-4. In Friday’s games against No. 18/16 Kentucky and Winthrop, Decker, who had four hits, had a home run and drove in two of Lehigh’s three runs on the day. Lehigh fell to Kentucky 7-1 and lost to Winthrop 5-2.
Junior Christina Bascara (Pennsbury) went 2-for-4 with a run scored and one RBI in La Salle’s 4-2 win over South Dakota on Sunday to close out the UCF Tournament in Orlando. Juniors Mackenzie Obert (Pennsbury) and Suzanne Swanicke (Pennsbury) both drew a pair of walks in a contest that saw the Explorers draw eight walks. In Saturday’s 5-0 win over Middle Tennesse State, Bascara was 2-for-4. In the Explorers’ 9-5 loss to LIU Brooklyn later in the day Saturday, Obert had a pair of hits. In Friday’s 9-1 loss to North Florida, senior Erica Reis (Central Bucks East) had an RBI single.
Michelle Holweger (North Penn) was 2-for-4 in Lock Haven’s 2-1 win over Lake Erie on Saturday in Clermont, Fla. In Friday’s 10-1 win over Georgian Court, Holweger was 2-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs scored.
Freshman Sara Keeny (William Tennent) had a pair of hits in Kutztown’s 15-1 win over the College of Saint Rose in five innings on Sunday in Clermont, Fla. In Saturday’s 8-0 loss to No. 14 West Virginia Wesleyan, Keeny was 2-for-3.
Laura Altenburger (Neshaminy) was 2-for-3 with an RBI in West Chester’s 7-6 win over Ferris State at the PFX Games on Sunday in Clermont, Fla. In Saturday’s 6-3 win over Southern Indiana, Altenburger was 2-for-3 with a double.
Maria Spinosa (Hatboro-Horsham) was 3-for-3 with a double, RBI and two runs scored in Millersville’s 4-0 win over Bowie State on Saturday in Raleigh, N.C. In Millersville’s 13-4 win over Virginia State, Heather Lutz (Hatboro-Horsham) was 1-for-1 with two runs scored out of the leadoff spot.
Emily Mayhew (Pennridge) delivered an RBI single in Bloomsburg’s 6-2 win over Felician College on the first day of its spring break trip to Clermont, Fla., on Sunday. In the Huskies’ 6-4 win over Ashland University later in the day, Mayhew was 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
MEN’S SWIMMING & DIVING
Eric Jensen (Upper Dublin) was part of the University of Buffalo’s 800 freestyle relay that finished fourth at the MAC Championships with a time of 6:33.89. Jensen finished 15th in the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.13 in the consolation finals. He finished 13th in the 100 freestyle.
Washington & Jefferson senior Kevin Dunigan (North Penn) was named to the All-Presidents’ Conference first team. The North Penn graduate took third place in the 200 individual medley with a time of 1:56.78 and
was part of the third place finish in the 200 freestyle relay (1:26.64).
La Salle senior CJ Gimpel (Central Bucks South) finished fifth in the one-meter diving finals at the ECAC Diving Championships held at the US Naval Academy, posting a score of 269.00. He reached the finals in the event as a result of his score of 261.45 in the preliminaries, which was the third highest score of anyone in the prelims. Gimpel will return to Annapolis on Saturday to compete in the NCAA Zone A Diving Meet.
WOMEN’S SWIMMING & DIVING
Marist sophomore Megan Berardelli (Wissahickon) advanced to the NCAA Zone Qualifier Diving Championships on March 7 and 8. Berardelli was named the 2016 MAAC Most Outstanding Diver after she placed second at one meter (254.00 points) and took the top spot at three meters (296.95 points). She placed sixth in both diving events at this year’s Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships and was the 2015 ECAC Champion in the 3-meter dive as a freshman.
MEN’S TRACK & FIELD
University of Pennsylvania sophomore Jeff Wiseman (Council Rock South) earned All-Ivy League second team recognition in the 500 meter run. Wiseman clocked a time of 1:03.65 in the 500m at the 2016 Ivy League Heptagonal Championships on Wednesday.
Mitch Schlegel (Souderton) and Sam Brooks (Wissahickon) were part of Elizabethtown’s 4×400 relay that won by one-hundredths of a second over Moravian at the 2016 Landmark Indoor Championships, posting a time of 3:28.82 to claim the gold. The Blue Jays won the event for the second straight championship meet – they also won it at the 2015 outdoor championships.
IUP sophomore Austin Cooper (Upper Merion) was named to the All-Atlantic Region team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Cooper is ranked first in the PSAC and third in the Atlantic Region in the 800 with a season best 1:52.78 in the event. It’s his second career all-region honor. He also earned it in the 800 after the 2015 outdoor season.
Ursinus College sophomore Jequan Mitchell (Upper Merion) earned All-Centennial Conference honorable mention recognition in the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash. Mitchell broke the school record in the 60m, posting a time of 7.04 to outpace a seven-year standard and fall only .02 seconds behind the eventual champion. He made it back to the podium in the 200, taking his second bronze medal with a time of 22.88.
Shippensburg senior Jalen Ramsey (Norristown) has qualified for the 2016 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships held March 11-12 at Pittsburg (Ks.) State University. He will be competing in the high jump and boasts a qualifying jump of 6’10 ¾”.
Kutztown senior thrower Chris Varichione (Quakertown) and sophomore pole
vaulter Brandon Raguz (Central Bucks South) earned All-Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Varichione earned the All-Region honor in the weight throw after a successful senior season that included the fifth best throw in the PSAC and third best in KU history at 55-09.25. Varichione placed fourth at the PSAC Indoor Championships in the weight throw in 2016, following a fifth place showing in 2015.
Raguz had a career best mark of 15-7 in the pole vault earlier this season, ranking 10th in school history and earning an NCAA provisional mark. He finished second in the pole vault at the PSAC Indoor Championships with a mark of 15-03.50, just shy of his career best.
WOMEN’S TRACK & FIELD
Elizabethtown sophomore Kelsey Brady (Council Rock South) finished second in the mile run with a time of 5:06.43, the third best time in program history, at the 2016 Landmark Indoor Championships. At Saturday’s last chance qualifier at St. Lawrence University, Brady attained a new personal record and improved her time on the program’s all-time list in the event, finishing fourth with a time of 2:16.15 to improve her third place standing in program history.
Temple senior Sydnee Jacques (North Penn) posted a personal best mark in the triple jump with a leap of 12.15 meters that ranked fifth in the finals of the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships.
Penn State senior Tori Gerlach (Pennridge) will compete in the 5,000-meter run at the 2016 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships March 11-12 in Birmingham, Ala. At the 2015 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Gerlach finished 10th in the 5,000-meter run (16:00.28) and 14th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:14.79), earning second team All-American Honors.
Ursinus College junior Erin Farrell (Neshaminy) was selected to the All-Centennial Conference first team in
the 200-meter dash. Farrell is a two-time first team honoree after defending her 200-meter dash crown at the indoor championships. She posted a time of 26.37 to become the first women’s track athlete to win back-to-back golds in the event since Gettysburg’s Lauren Parker captured three in a row from 2004-2006. Farrell also collected honorable mention status for her third place finish in the 60m dash (8.03).
The Neshaminy grad was part of the Bears’ silver medal 4×200 meter and 4×400 meter relays that earned second team all-conference status. The 4×200 relay recorded a new school record with a time of 1:47.66, breaking a mark that had stood since 2006. Farrell also was named Academic All-Centennial, which recognizes juniors and seniors who have a 3.40 cumulative GPA and were selected to the all-conference team.
Ursinus College senior Elizabeth Cooley (Quakertown) earned All-Centennial Conference second team status in the pole vault, nearly matching her own school record with a silver medal performance and a mark of 9-11.75.
Ursinus College sophomore Jenna Kelly (Upper Merion) earned second team status as a member of the silver medal performances by the 4×200 relay and the 4×400 relay.
Kutztown pole vaulter Anecia Alexaki (Upper Merion) earned All-Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Alexaki posted the fourth best mark in the pole vault this season in the PSAC with a NCAA provisional mark of 11-09.75 at the KU Last Chance Qualifier. She ranks third in school history in the pole vault and finished 14th in the event at the PSAC Indoor Championships.
Moravian sophomore Casie Cronk (Quakertown) tied for sixth with a jump of 1.59
meters (5-2.5) at the ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday night. Junior Sarah Hughes (Souderton) placed 10th in the one-mile run with a time of 5:12.83.
West Chester junior Christine Johnson (North Penn) was named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Atlantic Region team for the 2015-16 indoor season. The North Penn graduate competed in the shot put, putting the shot 11.66m for a fifth place showing at the PSACs.

Christian Lizana (Pennridge) had a team-best seven digs in No. 12 Vassar College’s 3-1 win over The Sage Colleges on Wednesday.
Junior Michael Fehrs (Central Bucks West) had a team-high nine kills in No. 10 Stevenson’s 3-0 win over No. 15 Juniata on Friday night.
Andy Willits (North Penn) had a team-high 13 kills and a .409 attack percentage in Cairn University’s 3-0 loss to Marymount University on Saturday afternoon. He also had two service aces and two block assists. Micah Godshall (Souderton) had seven kills. In Friday’s 3-0 loss to Eastern Mennonite University, Godshall led the offense with 10 kills while Willits had seven.
