BASEBALL
Justin Andrews (Neshaminy) earned his first career win in Monmouth’s 8-5 win over Iona in Saturday’s doubleheader split, allowing one hit and no runs in 1.1 innings of relief. He fanned three and walked one. In Wednesday’s 14-1 win over Princeton, Ricky Dennis (Central Bucks South) threw three innings of effective relief, allowing just one run on two hits.
Matt Hollenbeck (Hatboro-Horsham) pitched a season-high 6.2 innings, giving up three runs (one earned) on eight hits while striking out two in Georgetown’s 9-3 win over Villanova on Friday at the Wildcats’ Villanova Park at Plymouth Meeting.
West Chester senior transfer Dylan Tice (Pennridge) received Player of the Week Honors by the PSAC for the week ending April 5. Tice put together an 11-for-22 stretch that included three home runs, three triples, five singles and a walk for seven RBIs and 13 runs scored en route to leading the Golden Rams to a 5-0 record that included sweeps over Bloomsburg and Mansfield and a non-conference win against Philadelphia University. Tice has only struck out once in 2015. He currently owns a string of 82 consecutive plate appearances without striking out and ranks second in Division II among those “Toughest to Strike Out.” Date back to last year when he played for IUP, Tice has only struck out once in his last 125 appearances.
Tice went 5-for-7 with two doubles and a triple, scoring three runs and knocking in two in West Chester’s sweep of Lock Haven on Saturday. In Thursday’s 10-5 win over the University of the Sciences in the semifinals of the Bill Giles Classic, Tice went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one RBI and a walk.
Ben Hauser (Central Bucks East) was 4-for-5 with two RBIs in Northampton’s 23-4 win over Bucks County Community College in game one of Thursday’s doubleheader sweep. In Northampton’s 17-1 win in game two, Hauser had a double and triple with three runs scored. In Monday’s 17-3 win over Delaware County Community College, Ryan Erskine (North Penn) was 2-for-2 with four RBIs.
Sophomore Cory Capaldi (Souderton) combined to go 6-for-9 with a grand slam, four runs scored and six RBIs in Pace University's doubleheader sweep of Saint Rose on Sunday. In Pace's 10-9 win in game two, Capaldi was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and six RBIS, which included the grand slam to give Pace a 6-2 lead. He aso had a two-run double.
Junior Steve Wright (Council Rock South) hit an RBI single in Gettysburg’s 5-4 win in 10 innings over Washington College on Saturday.
Sophomore Greg McDonough (Wissahickon) was 3-for-4 from the plate with a double, one RBI, one run scored and one stolen base in Widener’s 6-2 win over Albright on Saturday. In Widener’s 5-3 win over No. 13 Misericorida, McDonough, who reached base all four trips to the plate, was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and one RBI. He stole three bases on three attempts. In Tuesday’s 6-4 loss to Rutgers-Camden, he was 2-for-4 with a run scored and a walk. He also stole a base. In Monday’s 6-4 loss to Stevenson, McDonough contributed an RBI double.
Dan Hinchcliff (North Penn) was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in Catholic University’s 4-0 win over Susquehanna in game two of a doubleheader split last Saturday.
Senior Brandon Martinez (North Penn) went 4-for-5 and drove in the game-winning run in the eighth inning to lead Kutztown to a 5-3 road win over Bloomsburg in eight innings on Saturday. The four-hit game was his first of the year and fifth of his career. He scored a run and stole a base as well.
Freshman Jason Mulvey (Bensalem) contributed three hits, four stolen bases and two runs scored in Gwynedd Mercy’s 18-11 loss to Susquehanna on Monday. Freshman Brett Kozlowski (William Tennent) contributed a sacrifice fly.
Kristopher Davis (Central Bucks East) earned his fifth win in six starts in Elizabethtown’s 7-2 win over Merchant Marine in Saturday’s doubleheader sweep. He allowed three hits and two runs while striking out seven.
Joey Nieves-Markee (Bensalem) was 2-for-3 with a double in Cairn University’s 4-2 loss to Immaculata University on Saturday. In Monday’s 13-12 win over Keystone College, Nieves-Markee hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth inning for the win. He led the Highlanders with a perfect 4-for-4 effort for the second game in a row.
Kyle Wenger (Souderton) had a pair of doubles in Delaware Valley’s doubleheader sweep at the hands of nationally-ranked Misericordia on Saturday. In Tuesday’s 9-8 loss to Albright, Wenger was 2-for-4 with a double, home run, two RBIs and two runs scored. Bobby Altieri (Norristown) scored twice.
Randy Frankenfield (Wissahickon) notched the win in York College’s 9-2 win over Marymount on Tuesday. The Wissahickon grad threw seven innings, allowing six hits and two runs (one earned) while walking three and striking out six.
Senior Jason Goldberg (Central Bucks East) scattered three hits while fanning five over seven innings of work in Arcadia’s 6-0 win over Albright. The win upped Goldberg’s record to 3-0.
Goldberg was named Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 30 for his performance in Arcadia’s 3-2 win over Messiah on March 27. He scattered eight hits while striking out five in seven innings. The win upped his record to 2-0 for the season with a 2.25 ERA and eight strikeouts over his first 12 innings of work this season.
Ryan Henritzy (Council Rock North) was 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Lock Haven’s 6-4 loss to West Chester in game one of a twinbill. He was 1-for-3 with a double and run in Lock Haven’s 12-2 loss in game two of the doubleheader. The senior has now hit safely in 12 straight games for the Bald Eagles. In Monday’s 4-0 win over East Stroudsburg in game one of a doubleheader, Henritzy contributed an RBI double.
Freshman Pat Fitzgerald (Central Bucks South) had three hits, including a double and RBI single to plate the game-winner, in Penn State Abington’s 6-5 win over Keuka College in eight innings in game one of a doubleheader sweep on Saturday. Matt McDonough (Abington) pitched a complete game to earn the win and did not allow a run after the second inning. In the Nittany Lions’ 8-6 win in game two, Trey Guaglionona (Abington) had an RBI double, and Anthony Pletscher (North Penn) contributed an RBI single. In Monday’s 13-12 loss to Rutgers-Newark, Guaglionona was 2-for-2 with a double and RBI while Pletscher was 2-for-4 with a double, four RBIs and one run scored.
Redshirt sophomore Casey Saverio (Hatboro-Horsham) hit for the cycle in East Stroudsburg’s 19-12 win over Mansfield on Sunday in game two of a doubleheader split, finishing the game with four RBIs and four runs scored. In Saturday’s 9-2 win over Mansfield in a twinbill split, freshman Aden Tully (Council Rock North) had a two-run double. Saverio was 1-for-2 and scored three runs. In Wednesday’s 6-1 win at Philadelphia University, Saverio was 2-for-3 with two runs. Redshirt sophomore Marty Martens (Central Bucks West) earned the win in relief, fanning four in two scoreless innings. He did not allow a hit.
Junior first baseman Pat Campion (Norristown) recorded six consecutive hits in Chestnut Hill’s twinbill split with Briarcliffe on Saturday, finishing 6-for-7 with a triple, three runs scored and one RBI. In the 11-4 win in game one, Campion was 4-for-4 with a triple and three runs scored. Austin DiBonaventure (Plymouth Whitemarsh) delivered a two-run single to tie the game 4-4, and freshman Patrick Kelley (Central Bucks West) doubled to bring home two more runs. In a 7-1 loss in game two, Campion was 2-for-3 with a double. In Thursday’s 5-2 win over Felician in game two of a doubleheader sweep, Robert Slagle III (Plymouth Whitemarsh) contributed a triple. DiBonaventure, who did not allow a hit in a scoreless inning of relief, earned the win. In Wednesday, 8-4 win over Lincoln University in game one of a doubleheader sweep, Campion led the charge with a 3-for-4 effort that included two RBIs and two runs scored. Brandon DiBona (William Tennent) was 2-for-2. In Chestnut Hill’s 11-5 win in game two, Robert Andris (Springfield) earned the win, working the first four innings. Kelley was 2-for-4 with two RBIs, two stolen bases and two runs scored.
Jon Mullin (Central Bucks South) hit a two-run home run in Messiah College’s 7-2 win over Hood on Saturday.
Freshman Dan Morrin (Central Bucks East) earned his second win of the season in Moravian’s 3-0 win over Susquehanna in game one of a doubleheader sweep, allowing just one hit in 4.1 shutout innings while walking three and striking out two. In Moravian’s 5-3 win in game two, Matt Hanson (Central Bucks West) had an RBI single. In Wednesday’s 14-9 loss to Rowan, Hanson stole second in the first inning to increase his school record to 52 stolen bases. In Tuesday’s 9-5 loss to Albright, Hanson earned the top spot in the record books with his 51st stolen base. He finished the day 2-for-4.
Brady West (North Penn) doubled and scored a run in Bloomsburg’s 5-3 loss in eight innings to Kutztown on Saturday. In Monday’s 11-4 loss to Bloomsburg, West was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
MEN’S GOLF
Penn State Abington’s Mike Lam (Neshaminy) finished tied for second overall among 28 players in the Cabrini College Quad on Tuesday. He led all Nittany Lion scorers, shooting a 74 (+3). Sean Ailtmar (Central Bucks South) finished eighth, carding a 79 (+8).
Temple senior Matt Teesdale (Hatboro-Horsham) carded a three-over 73 to tie for 15th place after day one of the Princeton Invitational on Saturday.
La Salle senior Greg Goodreds (Hatboro-Horsham) finished 74th at the Liberty Invitational on Saturday, shooting a team-best 75 on the final day and finishing with a 237 (80-82-75). The field featured a pair of teams, Oklahoma and UNC, ranked in the top 20. La Salle finished 18th.
WOMEN’S GOLF
Middlebury College senior Jordan Glatt (Central Bucks East) shot 79, 82 to tie for 12th place out of 67 golfers at the 2015 Vassar College Invitational. The tournament took place this weekend at the par 72, 5,852-yard Casperkill Golf Club in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. The Middlebury team placed fourth out of the 12 teams participating.
MEN’S LACROSSE
Garret Rosiek (Wissahickon) contributed three goals and three assists in Aurora University’s 12-9 win over Augustana College on Saturday.
Junior Chris Schneekloth (Central Bucks East) won 8-of-10 face-offs in Cabrini’s 21-2 win over Keystone College on Saturday, upping the program’s win streak in conference play to 91 games.
Junior Nick Guglielmi (Council Rock South) notched two fourth-quarter man-up goals in Gwynedd Mercy’s 9-5 loss to No. 16 Cabrini on Wednesday.
WOMEN’S LACROSSE
Senior Kimber Kisselback (Neshaminy) had a pair of caused turnovers in Holy Family’s 17-8 win over Chestnut Hill on Saturday. The Neshaminy grad now has 16 on the season and has tied the program’s all-time mark with 48 career caused turnovers. In Wednesday’s 14-3 win over Post, Kisselback had six ground balls and also had two caused turnovers.
Junior Ally Frymoyer (Upper Merion) recorded 12 saves in Shippensburg’s 14-13 loss at East Stroudsburg on Wednesday. It marked her fifth double-digit saves total of the season and eighth straight game with eight or more saves.
Liz Mower (Souderton) scored five goals in Philadelphia University’s 17-11 win over Mercy on Saturday.
Junior midfielder Bryn Dietzel (Central Bucks South) contributed a goal, two assists and two ground balls in Ursinus College’s 14-4 win over Scranton on Wednesday.
Sophomore attack Lauren Green (North Penn) scored four goals in East Stroudsburg’s 13-10 loss to Slippery Rock on Saturday. In Wednesday’s 14-13 win over Shippensburg, Green scored five goals and freshman Chessie Rahmer (Souderton) added a single goal.
Carly Ball (North Penn) had one goal and four ground balls in Bloomsburg’s 12-7 win over Edinboro on Saturday.
Freshman goalie Jen Bergey (Souderton) was credited with 10 saves and picked up two ground balls in Kutztown’s 17-7 loss to IUP on Saturday.
Kelly Hamilton (Central Bucks South) scored two goals and also recorded a pair of ground balls in No. 2 Lock Haven’s 8-6 win over Millersville on Saturday. In Wednesday’s 10-9 win over No. 8 Mercyhurst, Hamilton had four goals and also had a draw control. In Monday’s 8-5 win over No. 3 Lindenwood, Hamilton recorded a hat trick and one draw control.
Senior Hannah Vogel (Hatboro-Horsham) scored three goals and assisted on four others in Millersville’s 14-5 win over Kutztown on Wednesday.
Stephanie Hogan (Central Bucks West) contributed a goal in Eastern University’s 11-8 win over Manhattanville College on Saturday. In Wednesday’s 16-8 loss to Misericordia, Hogan tallied two goals.
Becky Ely (Council Rock North) was part of a standout defensive effort in No. 17 Messiah College’s 11-6 win over Lebanon Valley on Saturday. In Wednesday’s 18-7 win at Lycoming, Madi Brunk (Chetenham) had two assists.
Emily Hawkins (Cheltenham) recorded seven points on three goals and four assists in Keystone College’s 20-7 loss to Immaculata on Saturday.

SOFTBALL
Christina Bascara (Pennsbury) was 3-for-3 with a double, home run, three RBIs and three runs scored in La Salle’s 8-4 win over Rhode Island to complete the three-game sweep. Suzanne Swanicke (Pennsbury) also hit a home run and scored a pair of runs. Mackenzie Obert (Pennsbury) and Erica Reis (Central Bucks East) both contributed doubles. In La Salle’s doubleheader sweep of Rhode Island on Saturday, Bascara recorded six RBIs on the day, including a grand slam in game one. In the Explorers’ 10-2 win in game one, Bascara finished with five RBIs while Obert was 2-for-2 with two runs scored. In La Salle’s 2-0 win in game two, Bascara and Obert both drove in a run.
Sophomore Ally Horvath (Central Bucks South) earned the win in Widener’s 9-1 win over Lebanon Valley on Monday, allowing one run (unearned) on six hits and no walks.
Sophomore Brooke Labs (Pennridge) went 6-for-6 at the plate with two doubles, two RBIs and six runs scored to lead Marywood to a pair of wins over Notre Dame. She had a 1.333 plugging percentage and a 1.000 on-base percentage. She added one putout and five assists in the field without committing an error for a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
Labs had three doubles in Marywood’s 13-4 win over Centenary on Saturday in game two of a doubleheader split. In Tuesday’s 15-3 win over Cairn in a doubleheader sweep, Labs had a double. In Monday’s 7-1 win over Immaculata in game one of a doubleheader sweep, Labs was 2-for-4 with an RBI. In Marywood’s 8-7 win in the nightcap, Laps was 2-for-4 with a double.
Julie Wambold (Hatboro-Horsham) hit a leadoff home run in the second inning of Syracuse’s 9-1 win over Canisius on Thursday. The home run was her third of the season, and she finished the day 1-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored.
Sophomore Dominique Pinto (Council Rock North) blasted her team-leading fourth home run of the season in the University of Connecticut’s 8-0 win over Rhode Island on Thursday. The CR North grad finished the game 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBIs and a run scored.
Junior Haileigh Stocks (Central Bucks South) was 2-for-4 with a double and run scored in Robert Morris University’s 13-10 loss to Bucknell on Friday. It was her fifth mulit-hit performance of the season, the 16th of her career, while tallying her 20th double of her career.
Emily Mayhew (Pennridge) contributed a two-run RBI double in Bloomsburg’s 3-1 win over Mansfield in game two of a doubleheader sweep Saturday.
Gwynedd Mercy junior MaryKate Ballerino (Hatboro-Horsham) was named to the CSAC Softball Honor Roll for the week ending April 4. For the week, she batted .429 (6-for-14) with a .714 slugging and .467 on-base percentage with five runs, two doubles, a triple and three RBIs in a 4-0 week. In game one with Keystone, she was 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI triple. Game two saw her go 1-for-2 with a walk, run scored and stolen base. Against Notre Dame, she went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI double in game one. In game two, she was 1-for-4 with another RBI double. Ballerino is batting .413. (19-for-46) with 10 runs, nine RBIs, four doubles and a triple in 14 games. She also has five stolen bases along with a .543 slugging percentage and a .429 on-base percentage for the softball team, which has won five in a row.
Ballerino had three RBIs and three hits, including a double, in Gwynedd Mercy’s 8-1 win over Rosemont in game one of a twinbill sweep Saturday. Jess Mower (North Penn) had an RBI single. In Monday’s doubleheader sweep of Baptist Bible, Ballerino was 4-for-7 with five runs, four RBIs, three stolen bases, two triples and a double. Her RBI triple was part of a three-run first in Gwynedd’s 11-0 win in game one. She finished the game 2-for-3 with three RBIs while Mower and sophomore Nikki Canfield (Souderton) each scored two runs. In Gwynedd’s 9-5 win in game two, Canfield finished with two RBI triples and a walk while Ballerino was 2-for-4 with three runs, three stolen bases (tying a career high) and a triple.
D’Anna Devine (Pennsbury) was 1-for-2 with a run scored in the USF’s 6-0 win over Florida Gulf Coast on Wednesday night.
Stephanie Kulp (North Penn) was 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Millersville 4-1 win over East Stroudsburg in game two of a doubleheader sweep. Gabbie Berry (Norristown) had a hit in each game. In Tuesday’s 3-0 win over Kutztown, Heather Lutz (Hatboro-Horsham) hit a solo home run, and Danielle DiFilippo (Hatboro-Horsham) was 1-for-3 with an RBI.
Koraima Dudley (Neshaminy) was 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored in Chestnut Hill’s 12-3 win over the University of the Sciences on Wednesday. Ashleigh Sharp (Upper Dublin) doubled and scored a run.

Emily Wrenn (Hatboro-Horsham) earned the win in the circle, allowing five hits in seven innings. In the Nittany Lions’ 8-4 win in game two, Jones was 4-for-4 at the plate. Jennifer Rakita (Neshaminy) earned the win, scattering 11 hits and striking out three in seven innings. In the Nittany Lions’ 15-2 win in a doubleheader sweep of Penn State Berks Wednesday, Jones had a solo home run, and Whitney DeLagol (William Tennent) had a pair of RBIs. In Monday’s 9-1 win over Lancaster Bible, Jones was 3-for-4 with three RBIs. Bianca Monterosso (Abington) hit a two-run single.
Senior Morgan Lewis (Council Rock North) pitched a no-hitter in Susquehanna’s 1-0 win over Moravian on Saturday in game one of a doubleheader split. She struck out four and walked three. In Susquehann’a 5-4 loss in game two, Lauren Creamer (Neshaminy) delivered a two-run triple and scored a run. In Thursday’s 10-0 win over Wilkes in game one of a twinbill sweep, Lewis earned her eighth win of the season, striking out six in five shutout innings. Creamer hit a solo home run. In Susquehanna’s 7-4 win in game two, Creamer delivered a two-run single to tie the game 4-4.
Erin Maher (North Penn) had two hits and four RBIs while teammate Monica Levins (Norristown) had a pair of hits, including a double, three runs scored and one RBI in Philadelphia University’s 26-1 win over Lincoln University in game one of a doubleheader sweep on Monday. In the team’s 26-0 win in game two, Maher had two hits, four RBIs and two runs scored while Mollie Burrell (Souderton) also had two hits, one RBI and four runs.

Laura Altenburger (Neshaminy) was 3-for-6 with a grand slam and five RBIs in West Chester’s 7-2 win over Shippensburg in game two of a doubleheader sweep on Saturday. In West Chester’s 6-0 win in game one, Sarah Derstine (Souderton) was 2-for-4 with three RBIs. In Wednesday’s 5-0 win over Shepherd in game one of a doubleheader sweep, Altenburger and Erin Quense (Neshaminy) hit back-to-back home runs. In the Rams 15-6 win in the nightcap, Haley Taylor (Pennridge) hit a pinch hit, two-run double.
Maggie Shaffer (Hatboro-Horsham) earned the complete game victory in Guilford’s 5-3 win over Lynchburg in Wednesday’s doubleheader sweep, allowing just one earned run.

In the Bears’ 6-4 win in game two, Hyman had a pair of hits, and senior first baseman Ellen Goldstein (Central Bucks West) scored a pair of runs.

Senior Mike Melchiorre (Upper Dublin) was part of the third doubles team that earned an 8-6 win in Ursinus College’s 6-3 win over Gettysburg on Saturday.
Peter Brzezinski (Hatboro-Horsham) earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at first singles in Gwynedd Mercy’s 9-0 sweep of Keystone College on Saturday. He also was part of the first doubles team that earned an 8-0 win. In Friday’s 7-2 win over Marywood, Brzezinski notched an 8-1 win at first singles. In Thursday’s 9-0 win over Rosemont, Brzezinski earned an 8-0 win at first singles and was part of the first doubles team that earned an 8-0 win.
WOMEN’S TENNIS
Amanda Shulski (Neshaminy) earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at second singles in Penn State Abington’s 9-0 win over the College of Saint Elizabeth on Wednesday. She also was part of the second doubles team that earned an 8-0 win.
MEN’S TRACK & FIELD
University of Penn junior Drew Magaha (Upper Moreland) finished fifth in the 800 meters with a time of 1:51.65 at the George Mason Invitational on Saturday.
IUP’s Austin Cooper (Upper Merion) posted a season-best and PSAC qualifying time of 3:55.90 to finish fifth in the 800 meters at Bucknell’s Bison Classic on Saturday. Also posting a PSAC qualifying time was Tim Lynch (Souderton), who finished 10th in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a season-best time of 9:37.01.
St. Joseph University’s Matthew McGarvey (Central Bucks West) finished third in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:54.98 at the Rider Invitational on Saturday. Senior Matt Sutorius (Central Bucks West) was part of the 4×400 relay that finished seventh with a time of 3:37.98.
Shawn Young (Central Bucks West) was part of West Chester’s winning 4×400 relay that posted a time of 3:17.72 at the Bill Butler Invitational on Saturday. Bryan Reice (Neshaminy) was part of the winning 4×100 relay team that crossed the line in 43.03. In last Saturday’s Millersville Metrics. Young was part of the winning 4×400 relay that finished in 3:23.25. Reice finished eighth in the 200 meter run.
Josh Mindlin (Council Rock North) and Chris Spadaro (Council Rock South) were part of the University of Pittsburgh’s 4×100 relay that finished eighth with a time of 42.11 at the Tennessee Relays on Saturday.
Freshman Alex Balla (Quakertown) had the fastest Shippensburg time in the unseeded potion of the 5K at the Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell on Saturday, crossing the finish line in a PSAC qualifying time of 14:58.44.
Widener senior Jason Caporale (Neshaminy) finished second in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:05.91 at the Bill Butler Invitational at West Chester University on Saturday.
Kutztown’s Brandon Raguz (Central Bucks South) notched a season best and PSAC qualifying height in the pole vault (4.55m) to finish second at the Rider Invite on Saturday.Chris Varichione (Quakertown)finished third in the shot putwith a season best 13.49 (44-3.25) and third in the hammer throw with a PSAC qualifying throw of 45.46m (149-2). Ron Smith (Neshaminy) was part of Kutztown’s first place 4×400 relay with a time of 3:25.83 and the second place 4×100 relay that posted a time of 43.11. He finished fourth in the 200 meters (22.77) and 10th in the 100 meter (11:36), which was a career best. Jhaloni Johnson (Springfield) was ninth in the 200 meter (23.20) and 13th in the 100 meter (11.52).
East Stroudsburg’s Montel Johnson-Troupe (Pennsbury) finished fourth in the 200 meter dash at the Moravian Coach P Open on Saturday. Eric Conard (Souderton) finished third in the decathlon with 5,743 points. Sean Hagerty (Pennridge) finished 11th in the long jump (20-6 ¼).
WOMEN’S TRACK & FIELD
Messiah College’s Natalie Ross (Souderton) finished first in the steeplechase with a time of 12:35.50 at the 37th annual Messiah Track and Field Invite on Saturday. She also was part of the 4×800 relay that posted a time of 10:43.46.
St. Joseph senior Kayla Charles (North Penn) finished third in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14.82 at the Rider Invitational on Saturday. It was her best outdoor time in the event since 2013.
Temple sophomore Sydnee Jacques (North Penn) finished fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 11.80 meters at the George Mason Invitational on Saturday.
Freshman Casie Cronk (Quakertown) was part of Moravian’s winning 4×400 relay that posted an ECAC qualifying time of 4:03.93 at the 6th Annual Coach P Open on Friday evening. Sophomore Lauren Suelke (Quakertown) was ninth in the triple jump with a leap of 10.80 meters (35-5.25). Sophomore Sarah Hughes (Souderton) was seventh in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 5:00.76.
Widener senior Amber Char (William Tennent) won the pole vault with a height of 3.05 meters (10-00) at The College of New Jersey Tri-Meet on Saturday.
Kutztown’s Anecia Alexaki (Upper Merion) tied for third in the pole vault with a height of 9-6.25 at the Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell on Saturday. In the 5000 meter at the Rider Invite, Olivia Dettore (Central Bucks West) finished first with a time of 19:31.75.
East Stroudsburg’s Kelly Anne Stuetz (Cheltenham) posted a PSAC qualifying time of 1:06.85 and finished third in the 400 meter hurdles at the Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell on Saturday. She tied for ninth in the high jump (4-10 ½) and 12th in the 100 meter hurdles (16.17). Alexis Bell (Norristown) finished seventh in the 200 meters with a time of 26.35. She was eighth in the 400 meters (1:00.68).
West Chester’s Emily Dusellier (Souderton) finished third in the 800 meters with a time of 2:21.49 at the Bill Butler Invitational on Saturday. Emily Magnant (Hatboro-Horsham) was part of the winning 4×100 relay that finished in 49.22. She also was part of the second place 4×400 relay that posted a time of 3:53.62.
MEN’S VOLLEYBALL
Sophomore Christian Lizana (Pennridge) had five digs off the bench in Vassar College’s 3-0 loss to No. 6-ranked Nazareth College in the quarterfinals of the United Volleyball Conference Tournament.
Sophomore Michael Fehrs (Central Bucks West) had seven kills and senior Scott Morantz (Neshaminy) had a team-high 10 digs in Stevenson’s 3-0 sweep of Marymount in the semifinals of the Continental Volleyball Championship Friday evening.
