The Lions dug their way out of an early 14-point hole and pulled to within four. They trailed 26-17 at halftime and trimmed that deficit to 35-29 heading into the fourth quarter when the Warriors put the game out of reach with a 20-point outburst.
“We struggled offensively, but we played very good team basketball,” LM coach Dicky Rhoads said. “We just had a slow start.
“A lot of guys contributed, but we had some timely mistakes that cost us the game.”
Thomas Maloney’s 17 points led the Lions, and Nathan Fellah added 13.

It was the story of two halves.
The Lions – sparked by 10 points from Blake McCagg and nine from Linus MacKenzie – opened up a 37-28 halftime lead. The Bulldogs flipped the script in the second half, outscoring the host Lions 41-29.
McCagg was one of five NH-S players to finish in double figures, burying four 3-pointers and scoring 15 points. Rocco Massimino added 14 points – nine in the second half. Beck Alderson had 11 points while MacKenzie and Noah Kolen both had 10.
