“Our offense is still getting into rhythm, but we had some good stretches today. Jake (Drinkwater) led the team in scoring, but it was a team effort. David (Adamski) led us in assists. He quarterbacks our offense the same way he does on the football field. Kevin Smith had a strong offseason, and it showed today. He put two in the back of the net. Evan Barrett also played well off the ball. He found dangerous spaces on the field and capitalized.”
–Props: “Colin Davidson had an amazing game in goal. Several doorstep saves kept us in the lead early in the first half. Lukas Rhode did a great job playing on-ball defense. The defense played very well as a unit for the majority of the game, and we just want to keep improving.”
