HARRY S TRUMAN 16, GEORGE SCHOOL 10
Chris Glover put his name in the program’s record books, scoring a single game record 11 goals to lead the Tigers to the non-league win. Glover added a team-high 12 ground balls and also had two assists.
Also, for the Tigers, Connor Freer had two goals and an assist. Conner Bryson had a hand in four goals, scoring one and assisting on three others. He also had six ground balls. Jake Talj added a goal and an assist. He also won 16 of 30 faceoffs (53 percent). Joe Scheller added a goal and assist.
Adding one assist were Nate Cornell and Colton Cornell. Nate Cornell also had five ground balls, and Colton Cornell had one ground ball.
Chase Tuttle had two ground balls and three caused turnovers, Logan Malinowski had two ground balls and one caused turnover, and Stone Riemenschneier had one caused turnover.
Tommy Bryson recorded 17 saves (62.9 save percentage). He scooped up one ground ball.
Harry S Truman (3-2) will travel to Council Rock North for its league opener on Tuesday.
