Council Rock North 15, Harry S. Truman 1
Council Rock North got its offense going early on the way to a National Conference win over host Harry S. Truman on Wednesday.
The Indians received five goals each from Peter Lehman (six assists) and Nathan Lewis (one assist, one ground ball) and two goals each from Luke Walstrum (four assists, four ground balls) and Beckett Thompson (one assist). T.J. Blancato also had a goal in the win.
Zane Moore won nine face offs and also had a game-high eight ground balls.
“Zane Moore dominated the face-offs,” coach John Fitzpatrick said.
Pat Slarcheff (four ground balls), Sean Beverly (three ground balls), Shane Bradley (two ground balls), Max Harar (two ground balls), Ethan Stranford (one ground ball) and Trevor Zemzik (one ground ball) also contributed.
Council Rock North (6-2, 1-2 SOL) will host Boyertown in a non-league game Monday.
North Penn 9, Hatboro-Horsham 4
North Penn limited Hatboro-Horsham to just three goals through three quarters on the way to a non-league win on Wednesday in a game that was also the annual Knights Against Cancer match.
“The North Penn lacrosse community raised over $2,700 tonight for our two families battling cancer,” North Penn coach Rick Smith said.
And while North Penn used stifling defense, the Knights received a hat trick from Lucas Yannul, two goals (one assist) from Stephen Rinck and single tallies from Nate Tagert, Danny Payne (one assist), RJ Macnamara and Dakari Luby.
Conor Young added two assists while Jack Kim and Lars Homan each had one assist.
Will Morrow contributed 11 face-off wins and goalie Bryon Rimmer made nine saves in the victory.
“We had great defense tonight from Ryan Schoppe, Nic Conroy, Brian Myers and Jake Nelson,” Smith said. “Our offense was led by senior Lucas Yannul. It was an all-around great team effort and we had great community support tonight.”
For the Hatters, Sam Fink had a pair of goals. Jason Kleintz added a goal and an assist, and Michael Brown had one goal.
Joe Brophy recorded seven saves in goal for the Hatters.
North Penn (6-4, 3-0 SOL) will travel to Maryland on Saturday for a non-league game against Northern Calvert. Hatboro-Horsham (2-9, 1-2) will host Upper Dublin on Tuesday.

Neshaminy 13, Coatesville 6
Neshaminy turned on its offense in the second quarter and didn’t look back in a non-league win over host Coatesville on Wednesday.
Neshaminy trailed 2-1 after one quarter before it pumped in five goals in the second quarter and another three in the third to take control of the game, giving the visitors a 9-3 lead heading into the final 12 minutes.
Connor McVey led the Neshaminy offense with four goals while Nick Donato (two assists), Luke Sermarini, Dawson Obringer and Ryan Maher had two goals each. Mason Demi also had a goal while Noah Weiman and Charlie Potash each had one assist.
Neshaminy (7-3, 1-2 SOL) will host Council Rock South on Tuesday.

Wissahickon 18, Plymouth Whitemarsh 5
Wissahickon received at least one goal from a whopping 10 players on the way to an American Conference win over visiting Plymouth Whitemarsh on Wednesday.
Michael Licata (one assist) led the onslaught with five goals and Brody Myers added a hat trick. Jackson Intrieri (five assists) and Brett Lehman (one assist) had two goals each while Dean Wolfe (two assists), Owen Baim, Harrison Williams, Samuel Baker, E.J. Schreiner and Matt Fritz had a goal apiece.
Fritz also won 14-of-15 face-offs and Baker won 4-of-7 face-offs. Goalie Chris Shea made one save in the win.
Wissahickon (7-3, 3-0 SOL) will travel to Springfield Township on Tuesday, and Plymouth Whitemarsh (1-7, 0-4) will host Abington on Tuesday.

Upper Dublin 15, Crestwood 12
Brian McCarry had five goals and an assist to lead the way for Upper Dublin in a non-league win over Crestwood on Wednesday.
In addition to McCarry, the Cardinals picked up two goals each from Zack Young, Brett Rama (one assist), Lucas Roselli and Jason Scott. Jayden Santangelo (two assists) and Jason Williams added one goal apiece while Andrew Sowers had two assists.
Cardinals goalie Sam Hoffman made five saves in the win.
Upper Dublin (4-6, 2-1 SOL) will travel to Hatboro-Horsham on Tuesday.
