Central Bucks West girls notched a win in Saturday’s opener. CB East boys fell to Radnor.

RADNOR 14, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 7
The Patriots and Red Raiders were deadlocked 1-1 after one quarter, but the Red Raiders erupted for five goals in the second to go into halftime with a 6-1 lead. They still led by five after three quarters and went on to earn the win.
Ryan Stout had a hat trick to lead the Patriots’ attack. He also contributed an assist to go along with four ground balls and three caused turnovers. Ben Yerkes added a goal and an assist. Adding single goals were Ryan Carroll, Jimmy Knepp and Ryan Eife. Ryan Gray chipped in an assist.
Evan Bullotta and Joe Beahan each won four face-offs. Bullotta also had a team-high six ground balls and one caused turnover. Beahan had three ground balls and two caused turnovers. Knepp added four ground balls and two caused turnovers. Mark Lapioli had four ground balls and two caused turnovers. Connor Martin had one ground ball and one caused turnover. Matt Melendez was credited with one ground ball.
Goalie Liam Rosenthal recorded six saves and also had one caused turnover.
Central Bucks East (0-1) will travel to Hatboro-Horsham for a non-league game Tuesday.

Girls
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 9, DOWNINGTOWN EAST 7
The Bucks made the most of their opportunities, turning nine of their 13 shots into goals. Emma Haring’s four goals led the attack. Casey Reichwein and Julia Carey each added a pair of goals. Kristen Rice had one goal.
Lauren Ring kept the Bucks in the game, recording 17 saves in goal in a standout effort.
Central Bucks West (1-0) will travel to Plymouth Whitemarsh for a non-league game on Wednesday.
