CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 12, OXFORD 1
CB South turned in a strong team defensive performance, defeating an up and coming Oxford squad.
The Titans sprinted out of the gate to a 4-0 lead after one quarter and added two more in the second to go into halftime with a 6-0 advantage. They took a 9-0 lead into the final quarter when Oxford scored its only goal.
Leading the Titans was Dante Poli with three goals and three assists, followed by Mike Dutkiewicz with three goals and one assist. Dan Mignogna and Austin Novick each scored twice. Ian Vogt scored once with an assist and Colin Abbonizio scored once. Justin Abbonizio and Evan Casey each turned in an assist.
The Titans recovered a total of 31 ground balls, led by DJ Loverdi with five and Mark Lumb with three. Dante Poli, Justin Abbonizio, Dylan Grosso, Joe Maag, Bobby Sautner and Brad Ross each recovered two ground balls. Mark Lumb was 5-for-10 and Joe Gannon was 2-for-6 on face-offs. Brad Ross had three saves in goal while Bobby Sautner saved one.
The Titans will face Hatboro Horsham High School on Thursday.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 14, NESHAMINY 8
After watching the Redskins open up an early 5-2 lead, the Colonials regrouped, outscoring their visitors 12-3 the rest of the way.
Three players finished with a hat trick – Brendan Sullivan, Vinny Martina and Kenny Diamond. Sullivan also had a pair of assists, and Martina had one assist. Mike Iannarelli added two goals and two assists, and Alex Savarese had three assists to go along with one goal. Colin Kissane and Chris Ward rounded out the scoring with one goal each.
“It was not a well-played game on our part,” PW coach Bryan Gregg said. “In the second quarter and into the second half, we definitely figured some things out.
“Defensively, we shut things down and started to play more aggressively, which was crucial because we were giving them way too many opportunities. In the first quarter, we hit the goalie a few times, and we were able to find the net after that and things developed. It was a full team effort.”
COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 16, ARCHBISHOP RYAN 7
Chase Patterson won 15-of-15 face-offs and was a difference maker in the Golden Hawks non-league win. Rock South led 8-6 heading into the fourth quarter and then closed out the game with an 8-1 tear.
Brandon Follis turned in a standout effort on attack, scoring three goals and assisting on four others.

AVON GROVE 14, UPPER DUBLIN 2
In a non-league contest against perennial district power Avon Grove, the Flying Cardinals received single goals from Cary Romig and Max Winebrake. Zach Young had an assist. Anthony Cerminera led the defense with five ground balls. Goalie Sam Hoffman recorded 11 saves for the Cardinals.
SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP 10, FATHER JUDGE 3
The Spartans raced out of the gate to a 7-0 halftime lead and took a 9-0 advantage into the final quarter when Father Judge finally got on the scoreboard. Paul Richardson, Will Kaufmann and George Baughn led a balanced Spartan attack with two goals each.

CENTRAL BUCKS 10, HATBORO-HORSHAM 8
Central Bucks East traveled to Hatboro-Horsham High School Monday evening to take on the Hatters. East came away with a hard fought, penalty-filled 10-8 win, giving Hatboro Horsham their first loss of the season. The score was tied 0-0 after the first period. Hatboro Horsham led 4-3 at intermission. East came alive in the third quarter, outscoring the Hatters by a 5-3 margin to take the lead at the end of the three quarter, 8-7.The Patriots scored two more goals in the fourth quarter to seal the 10-8 win.
The Patriots’ offense was led by Ryan Brown, who scored a hat trick with three goals and one assist. Alec Bracken added two goals and two assists. Greg Scholz, one goal, one assist; Bryan McIntosh, one goal, one assist; Ryan Schmidt, one goal; Ryan Bullota, one goal; Colin Stein one goal; rounded out the scoring.
Hatboro-Horsham's Brian Hood dominated the face-off circle, winning 18-of-20. Cameron Knox’s hat track led the Hatters’ offense. Logan Eldridge added two goals and one assist while Ian Reilly, Joe Larouche and Eddie Masterson had one goal each.
East's Liam Rosenthal was credited with 10 saves in goal while Joe Brophy turned away eight shots for the Hatters.
Bryan McIntosh led the Patriots defense with five ground balls; Drew Bethke had three ground balls, Colin Stein and Brant Billingsley had two ground balls apiece. Joe Thiroway, Ryan Bullota, Ryan Brown, John Galow, Jake Bradney each scooped up one ground ball.

East improved to 2-0, and travels to Wilson High School on Thursday for their third consecutive road game.

The Golden Bears rolled to their second non-league win in as many outings, this time defeating their neighboring rivals.
“It was a total team effort today,” coach Kim Frantz said.
Meghan O’Donnell (four goals, two assists) and Sydney Bachmayer (three goals) led a balanced UM attack. Jess Flanagan had a hand in four goals, scoring two and assisting on two. Chloe Leiter, Bryanna Gordon and Jill Kelly each had two goals, and adding single goals were Allison Felicetti and Claudia Zanine.
UPPER DUBLIN 17, LANSDALE CATHOLIC 5
The Flying Cardinals evened their early season record at 1-1 with a no-doubt-about-it win over the visiting Crusaders.
Freshman Jackie Rama had a big game for the Cards with four goals and eight draw controls. Caroline Wall had a hand in five goals, finishing with a hat trick and two assists. Charlotte Smith also had three goals. Sophomore Becky Browndorf filled a stat sheet with two goals, two assists, three ground balls and one caused turnover. Hannah Reape added two goals and two assists, and Mack Moore had two goals and one assist. Maddie Templeton added one goal and also had three ground balls. Allie DeMichele led the defense with four ground balls. Shannon Reape added one ground ball and two caused turnovers.
Jackie Jester led the Crusaders – who trailed 7-2 at halftime – with three goals.
UD goalie Sarah Herchenroder was credited with seven saves.

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 18, UPPER PERKIOMEN 7
Courtney Taylor has spent her career making a name for herself on the defensive end of the field. In Monday’s opener, the Temple-bound senior displayed some serious firepower, exploding for five goals and also handing out two assists. Kristen Berntsen also had five goals in a standout offensive effort while Anna Green added four goals and one assist.
Kasey Dietzel excelled in the midfield with eight draw controls to go along with three goals and three assists. Molly Sullivan added one goal, and Victoria Franchetti had an assist. Francine Richick and Melissa Veal each had two caused turnovers.
South goalie Laura Robinson recorded eight saves.
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 14, HATBORO-HORSHAM 2
The Bucks took a 10-0 lead into halftime en route to their second decisive win in as many games.
“The team did a good job working together and hustling to get back if there were mistakes,” coach Tara Schmucker said.
Bryn Boylan led the Bucks with three goals and one assist. Dani Dundas and Maddie Maio each added a hat trick. Scoring one goal each were Casey Reichwein, Chloe Miller Russo, Camryn Albrecht and Finley Ueland. Reichwein and Liv Fitzgerald each added an assist.
Lauren Devlin recorded six saves in goal in a winning effort.
“Lauren Devin was solid and had a 75 percent save percentage today,” Schmucker said.

SOUDERTON 12, PERK VALLEY 11
The Indians edged the visiting Vikings in an exciting non-league contest on Monday night. Maddie Knight had a big game on attack, scoring four goals to lead the Indians. Riley McGowan added a hat trick. Carlie Doughty had two goals and three draw controls while Sarah Goodwin had two assists and three draw controls. Megan Walbrandt added a goal and three draw controls while Kaitlyn Mardi and Jenny Ubowski both added single goals. Mardi also had an assist.
Lauren Scott was credited with nine saves in goal for the Indians (1-0).
PENNRIDGE 18, SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP 5
The Rams picked up their first win of the young season, jumping out to a 12-2 halftime lead and never looking back.
"This win was an entire team win," coach Karen Schnurr said. "Everyone worked together to come out with the victory.
"It started with the draw control and moving the ball fast and safely down the field. The attack worked as one unit, and the defense stepped up and doubled the ball. It was a great team win."
Grace Loughery (four goals, two assists, five draw controls, three caused turnovers), Emily Price (four goals, one assist), Jen Rodzewich (three goals, six draw conrols, four caused turnovers) and Maddie Dachowski (two goals, three assists, five draw controls) all had big nights for the Rams.
Also contributing were Kate Ziegler (two goals), Macy Price (one goal, three caused turnovers), Alex Lippmann (one goal), Avery Meiners (two caused turnovers), Hannah Cressman (two caused turnovers) and Morgan Wahlers (two caused turnovers). Pennridge goalie Alexa Machado was credited with seven saves in a winning effort.
For the Spartans, Ellie Hamilton had two assists and two ground balls. Contributing one goal each were Ellie Leitzel (two ground balls), Jameson Krewson (one ground ball), Lindsey Smith (three draw controls), Sophia Perry (two ground balls) and Deejay Bosca (one draw control). Emily Walsh had three ground balls and three draw controls, and Gracie Woron also had three ground balls. Emily Giampietro led the defense with three caused turnovers. Goalie Emily Henry recorded three saves.
