WISSAHICKON 11, PERKIOMEN VALLEY 5
The Trojans opened up a 3-1 lead after one quarter and took a 4-1 lead into halftime on their way to the bounce-back win after Friday’s tough loss to Central Bucks West.
Jackson Intrieri had a hand in six goals to lead the Trojans, scoring one and dishing out five assists. Owen Baim added three goals and one assist. Brett Lehman also contributed a hat trick. Brody Myers had one goal and two assists and EJ Schreiner added one goal and two assists. Samuel Baker added a single goal.
Scott Pfeiffer recorded five saves in goal for the Trojans, and Matt Fritz won 9 of 19 face-offs.
Wisssahickon (4-2) will be on the road at Souderton on Tuesday.

PENNSBURY 8, HOLY GHOST PREP 6
The Falcons wrapped up a stretch of four games in five days with a come-from-behind non-league win over the visiting Firebirds. The win gave Pennsbury a 3-1 record during that grueling stretch.
The two teams were deadlocked 4-4 at halftime after the Firebirds, who trailed 3-1 after one quarter, outscored the Falcons 3-1 in the second.
Holy Ghost Prep took a 6-5 lead into a final quarter that saw the Falcons score three unanswered goals to earn the win.
Ryan DeZutel connected for a hat trick and Will Anderson had three assists to lead the attack. Jesse Keaton added a pair of goals while Nick Sutton had a goal and an assist. Adding one goal each were Colby Seneca and Gavin Fleming.
Charlie Nuschke and Bryse Raniello both scooped up five ground balls while Sheehan Miles was credited with four.
Luke Nolan recorded seven saves in goal in a winning effort.
Jake Krefetz had another big day at the X, winning 11 of 15 face-offs. He also finished with a team-high seven ground balls and chipped in one assist.
"Ryan DeZutel has really been stepping up for us and had another hat trick," coach Drew Artin said. "I certainly respect the game senior Colby Seneca had for us. He was tasked with a larger defensive role and focusing on clears – he was significnt for us in this win. That's the kind of leadership any team would want.
"Back-to-back games is never easy, and our team played tough and aggressive."
Pennsbury (5-3) will host Council Rock North on Tuesday.

AVON GROVE 7, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 6 (OT)
The Patriots trailed the visiting Devils 6-4 heading into the fourth quarter but rallied to knot the score. Ryan Eife scored a man-up goal assisted by Jimmy Knepp, and Ryan Stout found the net with the equalizer with 5:45 remaining.
East won the face-off at the start of overtime but failed to score. Avon Grove – a perennial district and state powerhouse – scored the game-winner with 1:22 remaining in OT.
Earlier, the Devils led 2-1 after one quarter. Ryan Gray scored a man-up goal, using a Ryan Stout assist with 2:47 remaining in the quarter. The two teams exchanged goals in the second period with Ryan Carroll scoring with a Knepp assist at the 5:53 mark. The Devils outscored the Patriots 3-2 in the third period. Ryan Eife scored an unassisted goal at the 11:13 mark, and Carroll connected on his second goal, also with a Knepp assist, setting the stage for the dramatic finish.
For the game, Carroll and Eife each scored a pair of goals while Stout added a goal and an assist. Stout also scooped up a team-high five ground balls. Gray had a single goal as well as a caused turnover. Knepp had three assists to go along with a ground ball.
Jake Kueny won 11 face-offs and also scooped up four ground balls. Liam Rosenthal was credited with five saves in goal.
Evan Bullotta was credited with three caused turnovers and also had two ground balls. Finishing with one ground ball each were Joe Beahan, Ben Yerkes and Jake Parker. Yerkes and Connor Martin each had a caused turnover.
Central Bucks East (3-2) will travel to Central Bucks West for a conference showdown on Tuesday (7:15 p.m.).

SOUDERTON 15, SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP 10
The Indians rebounded from a tough loss to Pennsbury to hand the Spartans their first loss of the young season in the SOL opener for both squads. The Indians raced out of the gate to an 8-4 lead and never looked back.
Souderton’s standout goalie, Lauren Scott, notched a personal milestone when she surpassed the 400-save mark for her stellar career. She turned away 14 shots in Saturday’s win.
Randi Hess led the Indians’ attack with five goals while Lauren Kenah and Riley McGowan each added a hat trick. Kenah also had an assist. Caroline Kelly had a pair of goals, and Kylie Norbeck added a goal and an assist. Alison Mallon had a single goal while Clark Trowbridge and Sydney Rohrbach both had an assist.
For the Spartans, Maddie Yoder had a big day, scoring a game-high six goals. She also was credited with five draw controls and one ground ball. Adding one goal each were Emily Smith, Emily Walsh, Ella Marino and Charlotte DeKerillis. Smith also had two ground balls and two caused turnovers while Walsh had five draw controls and two ground balls. Marino also had one assist, three draw controls and two ground balls.
Sophia Perry had one assist, Charlotte Henry had one draw control and one ground ball. Ellie Lynch and Gracie Woron each had two ground balls while Molly McGoldrick had one ground ball.
Annie Ryan was credited with 10 saves in goal for the Spartans.
Souderton (3-3, 1-0 SOL) will travel to Wissahickon on Monday, and Springfield Township (3-1, 0-1) will be on the road at Upper Dublin Monday.
