NESHAMINY 9, LOWER MORELAND 7
Neshaminy used a balanced attack and a second-half rally to notch a victory over Lower Moreland in a non-league game Tuesday.
Neshaminy trailed by a goal (4-3) at halftime before bouncing back after intermission.
“My girls made adjustments on defense and made smart decisions on offense,” Neshaminy coach Ashley Belmonte said. “The girls were hustling up and down the field and backing each other up. And I was happy to see multiple girls involved with the scoring.”
Mackenzie Foster paced the attack with a game-high four goals and Caroline Angerer had a pair of tallies. Jessica Hanf, Sophia Stewart and Elizabeth Bressler chipped in with single tallies.
Junior goalie Miranda Horton turned aside six shots to net the win.
“She was a softball player and is new to the sport,” Belmonte said. “This is her first year in goal.”
Neshaminy (1-0) will travel to Springfield Township Thursday for a non-league game.

WISSAHICKON 16, GREAT VALLEY 10
Sophia Chiodo Ortiz and Sam Intrieri combined for a dozen goals to help power Wissahickon to a non-league win over Great Valley, giving the Trojans their first win over the season.
Both Chiodo Ortiz and Intrieri scored six goals each in the victory. Intrieri also chipped in an assist.
Kelly Dickson contributed two goals and three assists for Wissahickon, and Brooke Berry also netted a pair of goals and added an assist. Quinn Gaffey and Emma Baker each added an assist
On the circle, Abby Degroat and Kelly Dickson each had five draw controls while a solid defensive effort was anchored by Lauren Donofrio, Lexi Hobson, Haley Reed and Naomi Bram.

WEST CHESTER HENDERSON 19, SOUDERTON 9
There were plenty of bright spots for Souderton despite a non-league loss to West Chester Henderson on Tuesday.
Riley McGowan netted a team-best five goals in the loss to push her career total over 150 and goalie Lauren Scott turned away 13 shots to increase her career-saves mark to over 350, who trailed by just one at halftime, 8-7.
Randi Hess, Sophia Sclafani, Clark Trowbridge and Caroline Kelly also had goals for the Indians.
Souderton (0-2) will host Boyertown in a non-league game Wednesday.

PENN CHARTER 8, ABINGTON 7
Abington battled all the way before dropping a non-league verdict to Penn Charter on Tuesday. The Ghosts knotted the score with 30 seconds remaining when Penn Charter’s goalie received a yellow card for dangerous play.
The Ghosts, who received two goals apiece from Kaley Ehnow and Lauren Van Buren, were tied at 4-4 with the Quakers at halftime before Penn Charter was able to get the best of things after the break.
Abby Thomas, Grace Hinkle and Shea Gormley each had single goals for the Ghosts. Ehnow and Hinkle both had an assist.
Abington goalie Ellie Hughes was solid in the net as she stopped 14 shots.
Abington (1-1) will host North Penn on Thursday in a non-league game.

DOWNINGTOWN EAST 16, PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3
Lexi Petrakis had two goals and Kennedy Reardon had the other for Plymouth Whitemarsh in a non-league loss to Downingtown East on Tuesday.
Plymouth Whitemarsh (0-2) will host Central Bucks West in a non-league game Wednesday.
