WISSAHICKON 16, SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP 6
The Trojans raced out of the gate to an 11-3 halftime lead and never looked back. Kelly Dickson had a hand in nine goals, scoring four and assisting on five to lead the Trojans. Sam Intrieri added four goals and an assist. Sophia Chiodo Ortiz had two goals and an assist. Brooke Berry, Abby Degroat and Emma Baker each added two goals, and Quinn Gaffey had an assist.
“The Trojans shared the ball on offense, and the defense was excellent in both halves led by Madeleine Murphy’s seven saves in goal,” coach Rob Intrieri said. “The defensive unit of Lauren Donofrio, Naomi Bram, Haley Reed and Lexi Hobson was solid all night.”
For the Spartans, Emily Smith (one assist, two draw controls), Maddie Yoder (six draw controls) and Ella Marino each had a pair of goals. Molly McGoldrick was credited with one ground ball and one caused turnover while Lauren Corrado, Ellie Lynch and Gracie Woron each had one ground ball. Emily Walsh had a pair of draw controls.
Wissahickon (9-1, 4-0 SOL) will host Upper Dublin on Wednesday, and Springfield Township (4-5, 1-4) will host Upper Moreland on Wednesday.

UPPER MORELAND 18, CHELTENHAM 4
Nine different players contributed goals for the Golden Bears, who opened up a 12-1 halftime lead on their way to the convincing conference win.
Bryanna Gordon, Emma Meacom and Zoe Valdevenito each had two goals and one assist. Meghan O’Donnell, Moira Olexa and Kathryn Morrow added two goals each while Cassidy Hirsh had one goal and one assist. AbbyEllen Wood and Breanne Knox each had one goal.
Olexa led the Golden Bears with five draw controls while Morrow had four. Adding one draw control each were Hirsch and Trzaska.
Upper Moreland (8-2, 4-0 SOL) will be on the road at Springfield Township on Wednesday, and Cheltenham (0-5, 0-4) will travel to Abington on Wednesday.

SOL Continental Conference
SOUDERTON 23, QUAKERTOWN 2
Riley McGowan and Randi Hess each scored five goals in a contest that saw 11 Souderton players contribute a goal. McGowan also had three assists. Caroline Kelly added three goals and one assist while Lauren Hallman (one assist) and Lauren Kenah each had a pair of goals. Adding one goal each were Alison Mallon, Clark Trowbridge, Emma Roush, Sophia Sclafani (one assist), Sydney Rohrback and Kylie Norbeck.
Lauren Scott recorded eight saves in goal for the Indians in the win.
Scoring one goal each for the Panthers were sophomore Kayla Hillaert and junior Cassidy O’Donnell.
Souderton (7-5, 3-2 SOL) will host Plymouth Whitemarsh on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m., and Quakertown (3-8, 1-3) will be on the road at Hatboro-Horsham on Wednesday.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 13, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 5
Carissa Longmore scored four goals to lead a balanced Golden Hawk attack to a win in Monday’s rivalry game between the sister schools. Carley Irvin and Claudia Steinmetz each added a hat trick, and Lauren Brown and Rihanna Shields each contributed one goal. Izzi Mendez had a pair of assists.
Irvin set the tone for the game when she put the Hawks on the board with a goal at the 24:13 mark. By halftime, she had a hat trick, and the Golden Hawks led 6-2.
Sophomore Emma Sadovy and senior Lucy Breithaupt each scored a goal for the Indians in the half.
Breithaupt scored a pair of goals to lead the Indians while Sadovy, freshman Megan McCaffrey and sophomore Grace Vliet each added single goals.
Rock South coach Madison Hurwitz lauded the play of defender Lauren Mitchell as well as Irvin, who was game MVP. The Golden Hawks coach also gave a shoutout to Gramma Irvin, who is Carley Irvin’s as well as the team’s number one supporter.
Council Rock South (4-6, 2-2 SOL) will host Central Bucks West on Wednesday, and Council Rock North (1-8, 0-4) will be on the road at Central Bucks South Wednesday.
