Scoring Summary

Second Half
Courtney Rinius (H-H) from Lily Harvey
Lily Harvey (H-H) from PK
Ryleigh White (H-H) from Brena McKeown
Hatboro-Horsham coach Chris Artman: “This was a good bounce-back effort coming off a tough loss to Upper Dublin. We dominated the game from start to finish.”
–Scoring early: “The offense got going when Marisa Bennett finished a great ball from Leah Nelson. Freshman Courtney Rinius got her first career high school goal on a slick pass from Lily Harvey. We kept the pressure on, and Ryleigh White scored her fourth goal of the season after finishing a Dakota Slye through ball.”
–Keeping up the pressure in the second half: “The second half started much like the first half ended. Great ball movement resulting in a second goal from Courtney Rinius. Shortly after, Lily Harvey made a great individual play, beating her defender and getting into the area where she was fouled and then converted a well struck penalty kick. Ryleigh White capped off the scoring with her fifth of the season after a fantastic through ball from sophomore Brena McKeown.”
–Props: “We just got Lily Harvey back from an injury she sustained in preseason. She made an immediate impact with a goal and two assists. Once again, our back line came up big shutting down their offense. Juniors Leah Nelson, Madison Dugan, Maddy Morino, and Cara Neeld have been solid all season.
–Panthers’ goalie impressive in defeat: “In the second half, Cheltenham’s goalie made at least seven spectacular saves, some from point blank. Even the girls on our bench were commenting on the saves she was making.”
Next up: The Hatters (3-4, 1-3 SOL) return to action when they host Wissahickon at 7 pm Tuesday. Cheltenham will visit Springfield Twp Tuesday at 3:30 pm.

Gracie Costello posted her fifth shutout of the season with five saves in goal.
Scoring Summary
First Half

Second Half
Interboro own goal off Maggie Brophy shot, 55th minute (2-0)
Maggie Brophy (UM) from Lizzie Walker, 57th minute (3-0)
Upper Moreland coach Lisa Benvenuto: “Three game weeks are a grind; it was nice to see the girls bounce back from yesterday’s loss with this solid win. Today was a team effort with everyone contributing.”
–The scoring: “It took us a bit to settle in and get used to the field and the surface. In the 29th minute we were able to move the ball through the middle, finding Maggie Brophy who put a ball out to Ava Warga. Ava was able to sneak it past the goalie, giving us the lead.
“At halftime we discussed being first on ball and playing simple. We controlled possession in the second half and were high pressuring their midfield and their back line. Maggie Brophy controlled the middle really well today and was dangerous on both the offensive and defensive ends. In the 55th minute, we put on a strong offensive attack that resulted in an Interboro own goal. Two minutes later, Lizzie Walker found Maggie Brophy on a beautiful corner. Brophy headed the ball right in.”
–Props: “Maggie Brophy, Keiley Hawk, Lizzie Walker, Grace Perce, Gracie Costello and Annalise Messina were solid for us.”
