QUAKERTOWN 21, UPPER DUBLIN 10 (5 innings)
In a contest that featured 24 hits and 31 runs, it was the Panthers exploding for eight runs in the fifth inning to blow open a close game and bring an early end to the contest.
The Panthers smashed four home runs, including Nikki Vanelli’s three-run blast in the fifth. Vanelli, who was 2-for-4, led the Panthers with five RBIs. Abbey Schwartz was 1-for-1 with a double and four RBIs.
Halle Frederick was a perfect 3-for-3 with a double, home run and one RBI. Sarah Stofik was 2-for-4, and Ryann Kemmerer was 2-for-3 with a triple. Maddie Moyer was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs, and Lauren Beal was 1-for-2 with a home run and three RBIs.
For the Cardinals, Sarah Tannenbaum homered and drove in a pair. Sarah Sharp and Jackie McMenamin were both 2-for-4. McMenamin also had an RBI. Bela Soriano was 2-for-3 while Ellie Kelcy and Brianna Parker both contributed one RBI.
The visiting Cardinals led 4-3 after one inning and 10-6 heading into the bottom of the third when the Panthers erupted for six runs. The Cardinals did not score the rest of the way.
Quakertown (4-2, 3-0 SOL) will host Cheltenham on Tuesday, and Upper Dublin (3-4, 2-1) will be on the road at Plymouth Whitemarsh.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 11, WISSAHICKON 4
Freshman Kammy Kropinski had herself a day out of the leadoff spot for the Colonials with a perfect 4-for-4 effort that included a double, two walks, two RBIs and two runs scored.
The sophomore battery of Kayla Yeager and Josee Tassoni earned the win for the Colonials. Yeager allowed just four hits and four runs (two earned) in six innings. Allison Beausoleil threw a scoreless seventh.
The visiting Colonials found themselves staring at a 3-0 deficit heading into the third inning when they scored three runs. They added two runs in the fourth, one in the fifth and went on top 10-4 after a four-run sixth inning.
Tassoni helped her own cause with a 1-for-2 day at the plate that included a pair of RBIs and a run scored. Yeager was 1-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Contributing one RBI each were Jennifer Byrne, Lauren Fuhrmeister, Emma Carney and Gianna Fazio.
For the Trojans, Macey Segal had a double, RBI and run scored. Johnston also had a double.
Plymouth Whitemarsh (4-2, 3-1 SOL) will host Upper Dublin on Tuesday, and Wissahickon (0-5, 0-3) will be on the road at Hatboro-Horsham on Tuesday.

PENNRIDGE 10, LANSDALE CATHOLIC (5 innings)
Kailyn Bell and Meghan Bauer combined for a nifty one-hit shutout in the abbreviated five-inning contest. Bell earned the win, allowing one hit while striking out eight in four strong innings. Bauer threw a scoreless fifth, fanning one.
The Rams’ bats made life easy for Bell and Bauer, scoring early and often. They plated three runs in the first and four more in the second and led 10-0 after three innings
Skylar Hengeveld was an impossible out, finishing the day a perfect 3-for-3 with a three-run home run, six RBIs and a run scored. Allie Motts was 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles and two runs scored. Logan Scott was 1-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored out of the leadoff spot. Samantha Harty was 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and three runs scored.
Pennridge (2-4, 0-2 SOL) will host Souderton on Tuesday.

Jenna Khantzian pitched a complete game shutout to lead the visiting Indians to the non-league win.
Council Rock North (6-1, 4-0 SOL) will host Abington on Tuesday, and Central Bucks West (1-5, 0-3) will host Central Bucks East on Tuesday.
