HATBORO-HORSHAM 15, SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP 0 (4 innings)
For the second time in as many days, the Hatters earned a mercy rule win, this time using an 11-run scoring explosion in the fourth to bring an early end to the game.
Bryn Griffith led the Hatters’ attack with a perfect 4-for-4 effort that included a double and two RBIs. Britt Hubler had a huge day at the plate, finishing just a single shy of hitting for the cycle with a double, triple and home run. Hubler had three RBIs. Maddie Yeager was 3-for-4 with a double, home run and three RBIs. Kylie Flagler was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.
Mikayla Fedele earned the win in the circle, allowing two hits while walking one and striking out five in four innings.

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, SOUDERTON 0
Kylie Kenney tossed a complete game four-hit shutout, striking out six while leading the Titans to their fourth win without a loss in conference play.
“Kylie pitched great,” South coach Kevin Rosini said. “She had that one game at Neshaminy (a 10-9 loss) where it was defensive flops behind her that made for a long, long game, but pretty much every game she’s been in she’s been solid.”
Taylor Marinelli’s RBI double to plate Alexa Ortman put the Titans on top 1-0 in the first inning. Ortman doubled to lead off the frame. The Indians – benefitting from an Alex Scheeler single, an error and a hit batsman – loaded the bases in the second, but Kenney coaxed a popup to first base to end that threat.
In the bottom of the second, the Titans tacked on two more runs. A triple by Katie Hines plated Alexis McConomy, who led off with a single. Ortman’s RBI single pushed the Titans’ third run across.
All told, the Titans pounded out 11 hits.
“This was a good solid win because Alex (Scheeler) is a good pitcher,” Rosini said. “We left a ton of runners on base. It could have been a lot bigger score than it was.”
Hines led the Titans with a perfect 3-for-3 day that included a triple, RBI and run scored. Marinelli was 2-for-3 with a double and RBI. Ortman finished the day 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and run scored, and McConomy was 2-for-3 with a run scored.
“If we can play defense and eliminate the mistakes, we’re a tough team to beat because we can score with anybody,” Rosini said. “Even the Archbishop Wood game (a 5-4 loss) – if Marisa (Browne) is not the top pitcher in the area, she’s top two, and we had 12 hits off of her. We hit the ball.
“It took us a couple of games with not being outside – that’s no excuse because everybody dealt with it, but once we got things clicking a little bit, we’re playing pretty well right now.”
Central Bucks South (4-3, 4-0 SOL) will travel to Gwynedd Mercy for a non-league game on Friday, and Souderton (2-4, 0-3) will host North Penn on Thursday.

ABINGTON 11, HARRY S TRUMAN 1 (5 innings)
The Ghosts took a 1-0 lead into the third inning when their offense erupted for five runs. It marked the beginning of the end for the Tigers, who managed just five hits and no runs off a pair of Abington pitchers.
“It was a great team effort and a good bounce-back win after being 10-runned by (Council Rock) North yesterday,” coach Ellie White said.
Lily Campoli was 3-for-3 with two runs scored to lead the Ghosts. Kierstin Gant tripled and contributed an RBI. Tori Brandenburger had a double, RBI and two runs scored. Megan Burdziak was 2-for-3 with an RBI. She also earned the win in the circle, allowing five hits while striking out three and walking one in four innings. Brandenburger threw a one-two-three fifth.
Freshman Chrissie Huhn was 2-for-3 with a double to lead the Tigers.
Abington (3-4, 1-4 SOL) will travel to North Penn on Friday for a non-league game. Harry S Truman (1-7, 1-4) will be on the road at Cheltenham for a non-league game on Friday.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 14, ARCHBISHOP RYAN 0 (5 innings)
Stephanie Andreoli tossed a one-hit shutout in Wednesday’s abbreviated non-league game and then put an exclamation point on the win with a two-run home run to highlight a seven-run fourth inning.
Andreoli, who allowed just a leadoff double in the fourth inning, struck out five and walked three. Archbishop Ryan loaded the bases in the third, but Andreoli had a pair of strikeouts and escaped with her shutout still intact.
“She had a good day,” coach Greg Heydet said. “She threw good, and she was on base all four times on two walks, an error and then the home run.”
Also for the Golden Hawks, Melanie Wilkinson was 2-for-3, Makenna Diamond was 2-for-2 with two RBIs, and Phylicia Wilkov was 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and four RBIs.
“We talked to them about pitch selection, and they did a much better job pitch selecting today,” Heydet said. “Just the effort – we said we needed a little more effort, and they did good.”
Council Rock South (6-1, 2-1 SOL) will travel to Pennsbury on Thursday.
