Check out the recaps for SOL softball teams in action Monday.

WILLIAM TENNENT 6, UPPER MORELAND 0
Mackenzie Clee quite literally did it all for the Panthers in Monday’s win. The senior pitcher was in complete command in the circle, allowing just two hits while striking out six and walking none in the complete game win, and she was equally – if not more – impressive at the plate where she was 4-for-4 with three triples, a home run, two RBIs and four runs scored out of the leadoff spot in a dazzling showing.
Clee set the tone for a big night in the top of the first when she led off the game with a triple to left and then beat the throw to the plate on Anna Coulter’s grounder to shortstop for the game’s first run.
In the third inning, the Panthers tacked on a run, and Clee once again ignited her team with a triple to right to lead off the inning. One out later, Clee scored when Meg Curtis singled to center.
The Panthers took a 2-0 lead into the fifth inning when they added a pair of runs. Once again, Clee led off the inning, and after tripling to left and right in her first two at-bats, the senior standout this time tripled to center field and scored on Coulter’s sacrifice fly to center. Curtis followed with a solo shot to left field that put the Panthers on top 4-0.
In the sixth, Ella Mednick hit a two-out single, and Clee followed with a home run to left for the 6-0 final.
Despite coming out on the short end of the score, UM coach Melanie Martino had good things to say about both teams.
“I was really proud of the overall defensive game our players had today,” the UM coach said. “Eowyn Stainback had a good day in the circle with no walks. Both Liz Santry and Chloe Kramer had standout games defensively. We had some players making contact today, but just couldn’t find the holes, Tennent was hitting the ball great today. They have a good team.”
William Tennent ( 5-3, 3-0 SOL) – 20th in the latest District One 6A power rankings – will travel to Hatboro-Horsham on Tuesday, and Upper Moreland (5-7, 4-1) will be on the road at Abington on Tuesday.

HATBORO-HORSHAM 5, WISSAHICKON 1
Kendal Leitner struck out 17 and did not walk a batter in yet another stellar outing in the circle. The Hatters’ junior allowed three hits and one run to lead the Hatters to their 11th win without a loss.
The Hatters plated an unearned run in the second inning when Leitner, who reached first on a one-out error, scored on Marissa Rapino’s groundout. Abby Waeltz had the inning’s lone hit, a double after Leitner reached base.
With one out in the fourth inning, Leitner helped her own cause with a solo home run to right field that put HH on top 2-0. In the fifth, Megan Mills ripped a one-out triple to left and scored on an RBI single by Kristin Myers.
In the bottom of the fifth, the Trojans got on the board when Grace Franczyk, who singled to lead off the inning, scored on Emma Dutill’s two-out single.
The Hatters tacked on a pair of runs in the seventh. With one out, Myers and Tess Kearney collected back-to-back singles. Both advanced on a sacrifice bunt, and both runners scored when Amya Lundy delivered a two-out, two-run single for the 5-1 final.
Hatboro-Horsham’s one and two batters, Myers and Kearney, were both 2-for-4 with a run scored. Myers also had an RBI.
Danielle Ciliberto absorbed the loss, scattering eight hits while striking out four and walking none.

SOUDERTON 11, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 1 (5 innings)
The visiting Golden Hawks – without collecting a hit – plated an unearned run in the top of the first to take an early 1-0 lead. The rest of the game belonged to the Indians, who scored 11 unanswered runs on their way to the five-inning mercy rule win.
Sierra Ripka led off the bottom of the first with a triple to right and scored on a wild pitch. Megan Kummery drew a walk, and one out later, Riley York singled. Ryan Zimmerman’s double to left plated a run, York scored on a wild pitch, and Kayley York’s RBI single put the Indians on top 4-1.
In the second inning, Gail Hartman, who walked to lead off the inning, scored on a sacrifice fly by Abby Burns.
A six-run fourth put the Indians on top 11-1. The offensive explosion began with Kummery’s one-out single. With two outs, Riley York smashed a two-run home run to center field. Zimmerman followed with a single, and Kayley York doubled. Zimmerman scored on a wild pitch – the third Indians’ runner to score on a wild pitch, and an RBI single by Taylor Nelson pushed another run across the plate. Sierra Miller put an exclamation point on the big inning with a two-run home run to left field. All six of the Indians’ runs in the sixth were scored with two outs.
Burns notched the complete game win, allowing three hits and one run (unearned) in five innings while striking out seven and walking one.
Kayley York’s 3-for-3 day at the plate that included a double, RBI and one run scored led the Indians’ 13-hit attack. Kummery (2-for-2, 2 runs), Riley York (2-for-3, HR, RBI, 2 runs), Zimmerman (2-for-3, 2B, RBI, 2 runs) and Nelson (2-for-3, RBI, 1 run) also had multiple hits.

NESHAMINY 15, LANSDALE CATHOLIC 0 (3 innings)
Mia Barone did not allow a hit in three shutout innings. The senior hurler faced 11 batters and struck out nine of them in a standout effort.
A 10-run first inning took the suspense out of the game in a hurry. The inning was fueled with hits by senior Danielle Monaco and sophomores Rachel Allen and Maddie Nelson. A bases-loaded walk to senior Kylee Jones pushed the first run across. Monaco emptied the bases with a three-run double to the fence, and another run crossed the plate on sophomore Peyton Tierney’s sacrifice fly to left field. Nelson’s single down the left field line accounted for the last RBI of the big inning.
In the second inning, junior Zoe Shimp’s single up the middle plated a run, and Nelson also delivered an RBI single. In the third inning, Tierney collected the final RBI of the game with a hard ground ball to the right side.
Monaco’s three RBIs led the Redskins with Nelson and Tierney close behind with two each. Jones and Shimp each added RBIs.
Neshaminy (9-3, 4-1 SOL) – 13th in the latest District One 6A power rankings – will travel to Central Bucks East on Tuesday.
