Nine SOL girls’ soccer squads will be in action in Thursday’s District One Tournament.

Eight squads in the 16-team field in Thursday’s second round of the District One 4A Tournament are from the SOL. Three of the eight games are all-SOL contests.
Neshaminy will travel to Pennsbury for the third meeting between the two schools. The two teams split the regular season meetings with Neshaminy winning the first (1-0) and Pennsbury edging the Redskins 3-2 in last week’s contest for the SOL National crown. SOL Continental Conference rivals North Penn and Pennridge will also meet for the third time this season. The Rams won both regular season contests (3-2 & 2-0). Central Bucks South will be on the road at Abington in the third all-SOL contest. The two teams did not meet in the regular season. Only Central Bucks West and Souderton will do battle with schools outside of the SOL.
Upper Moreland – the ninth SOL school still alive – will face defending state runner-up Villa Joseph Marie in Class 3A action Thursday.
