Central Bucks South 7, Central Bucks East 6
In an early season game that had the intensity of a playoff battle, Central Bucks South picked up its first win of the season with a thrilling 7-6 victory over neighborhood rival Central Bucks East in Monday’s National Conference opener for both teams.
A three-goal third quarter broke open a game that was tied at halftime and gave the Titans a two-goal cushion heading into the fourth. East closed the gap with one goal in the final frame, but South held off the Patriots to pull out the victory.
South goalkeeper Brayden Shahan was stellar, recording 14 saves. Blake Bernstein led the Titans with three goals as well as four groundballs and won 6-of-9 faceoffs.
For the Patriots, Colin Campbell’s hat trick led the attack.

Nothing gets the adrenaline flowing like a local rivalry.
Pennsbury rebounded from a nonleague loss on Friday by dominating neighboring rival Neshaminy 11-4 in Monday’s National Conference game.
Trent Becker led the Falcons with three goals and two assists. Colin Rakowski made five saves to hold off the Neshaminy attack.

Pennridge made sure this game was never in doubt. The Rams jumped out to a 5-1 lead after one quarter, then poured in eight more in the second period en route to doubling up North Penn 16-8 in Monday’s National Conference game.
Matteo Fanelli led the Rams with five goals and two assists. Rocco Fanelli added six points on four goals and a pair of assists.

The Indians raced out of the gate to a 4-0 lead after one quarter. They opened up a 6-1 halftime lead and then – despite scoring just one goal in the second half – held on for the win.

After falling behind on the opening draw and trailing after one quarter, Upper Moreland dominated the middle two quarters and doubled up Springfield Twp 10-5 in Monday’s American Conference matchup.
Kevin Smith hit career highs with five goals and seven points in the win.

Led by the senior quartet of Trey Minter, Billy McBride, Liam Dudley, and Owen Rodowicz, Council Rock North picked up an 11-5 victory over Plymouth Whitemarsh in Monday’s SOL Crossover nonleague game.
Dudley and Minter led the attack with three goals and an assist each.

After surrendering four goals in the second quarter and staring at a 6-4 halftime deficit, the Bucks turned it on in the second half, outscoring Boyertown 6-1 to rally to a 10-7 victory in Monday’s nonleague game.
Ben Greenspan led the Bucks with four goals and won 3-of-5 faceoffs.
