Council Rock North 16, Holy Ghost Prep 6
Luke Walstrum and Peter Lehman combined for 10 goals and eight assists to help power Council Rock North past Holy Ghost Prep in a non-league game Monday.
“We came in with a game-plan and the boys executed it,” Council Rock North coach John Fitzpatrick said.
Walstrum, a sophomore, led the way for the Indians with a game-high six goals and a game-high five assists while Lehman poured in four goals and had three assists.
“Luke dominated in face-offs and ground balls, and Peter Lehman did some damage also,” Fitzpatrick said.“Ghost is a great program with great coaches. This was a very good win for us.”
Dean Scannapieco had three goals and an assist while Nate Lewis, Shane Bradley and Beckett Thompson each added single tallies. Will Higgins chipped in with three assists.
Sean Beverly scooped up three ground balls to lead the Indians while Patrick Shavecheff had two.
Robbie Kay turned away 24 shots in goal.
Council Rock North (4-0) will travel to Pennsbury on Tuesday.

New Hope-Solebury 11, Quakertown 6
Quakertown fell behind 4-0 after one quarter and spent the rest of Monday’s non-league game playing catch-up.
“We dealt with some key absences and our goalie, Tyler Barnes, played a great game,” Quakertown coach Travis Eckler said. “But we just didn’t come out firing.”
Gavin Hillaert had three goals in the loss and defender Dan Grubb also contributed a goal in the loss.
Quakertown (4-3) will travel to Council Rock South Wednesday for a non-league game.

Neshaminy 17, Roman Catholic 3
Ten players had goals as host Neshaminy thumped Roman Catholic in a non-league game. The Redskins opened up a 10-1 halftime lead and never looked back.
Neshaminy received three goals from Jake Purdy and two goals each from Luke Sermarini (one assist), Ryan Maher (one assist), Dawson Obringer (one assist), Mason Demi (one assist) and Noah Weiman.
Nick Donato had one goal and five assists while Joey DeMatteo had a goal and two assists and Connor McVey had a goal and an assist. Ethan Roscoe also had a goal in the victory.
Neshaminy (5-1) will travel to Harry S Truman for a conference game Tuesday.
