PENNSBURY 21, PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 5
The Falcons exploded for 15 first-half goals and took a 15-4 lead into halftime. They limited the visiting Colonials to just one goal in the second half.
“The girls played from start to finish as a team today,” coach Shannon MacPherson said. “The defense caused some great turnovers, we transitioned well in the midfield, and on attack, we took care of the ball and made smart shots.
“We took control of the draw, which was huge in today’s win. It was an all-out team effort. Seven different girls scored. This team is so positive and coachable, and they really worked hard today.”
Maddy Spratt ignited the Falcons with 10 draw controls to go along with eight goals and four assists in a standout effort.
“She had a great game,” MacPherson said. “They all did. It was really fun to watch them play so well.”
Brooke Weaver added three goals and three assists while Lexie Snyder had one goal and one assist. Maggie Golder and Emelie Curtis both contributed three goals and two assists. Sarah Walcott had one goal and one assist, and Darrien Furiness added two goals.
Pennsbury (2-0) will host Hatboro-Horsham on Wednesday, and Plymouth Whitemarsh (2-3) will return to action next Wednesday at Hatboro-Horsham.

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP 14, GERMANTOWN FRIENDS 10
Maddie Yoder and Ella Marino combined for 10 goals to lead the Spartans’ attack. Both players had five goals. Yoder also had two draw controls, one ground ball and one caused turnover while Marino had one draw control and one ground ball. Sophia Perry dished out five assists and also had one ground ball. Emily Walsh contributed two goals, five draw controls and one caused turnover. Emily Smith had one goal, three draw controls and one ground ball while Lauren Corrado added one goal and two ground balls.
Molly McGoldrick (one ground ball, two caused turnovers), Ellie Lynch (one ground ball), Gracie Woron (two ground balls) and Jaden Callands (one ground ball) also contributed.
Annie Ryan recorded nine saves in goal.
Springfield Township (3-0) will host Souderton in Saturday’s SOL opener.

UPPER DUBLIN 11, GWYNEDD MERCY ACADEMY 8
The Flying Cardinals raced out of the gate to a 6-1 halftime lead and then withstood a Monarch comeback attempt in the second half to earn the non-league win.
Becky Browndorf and Mack Moore each poured in four goals to lead the Cardinals. Browndorf also dished out three assists while Moore had one. Jenn McCarry had a pair of goals and one assist while Julia Reardon added a single goal.
Riley Brady recorded 10 saves in goal for the Cardinals.
Upper Dublin (2-3, 1-0 SOL) will travel to Boyertown Friday for a non-league game.

NESHAMINY 14, QUAKERTOWN 9
Mackenzie Foster had herself a day for the Redskins in Tuesday's non-league game, erupting for seven goals. Teammate Caroline Angerer had four while Shama Patel, Elizabeth Bressler and Jessica Hanf had one each.
Sophomore Morgan Sipprell connected for a hat trick and also had an assist to lead the Panthers. Junior Haley Hangey added two goals and an assist. Contributing one goal each were sophomore Natalie Reilly, junior Mackenzie Adamson, junior Liv Williams and sophomore Tessa O’Donnell. Sophomore Haley Gordon had one assist for the Panthers.
Neshaminy (2-2) will host Archbishop Ryan Wednesday in a non-league contest, and Quakertown (1-2) will host Saucon Valley on Thursday in a non-league game.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 17, BENSALEM 0
Claudia Steinmetz led a balanced Golden Hawk attack with four goals in Monday’s non-league win. Carissa Longmore and Rianna Shields both added a hat trick. Kristen Lee had two goals while Carley Irvin, Cailey Hiscox, Izzi Mendes, Katelyn Cocco and Aspen Handel each contributed one goal.
