CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 14, UPPER MORELAND 6
The Patriots raced out of the gate to an 8-1 lead on their way to their second win in as many games. Brigitte Bishop and Quinn Ferry each had a hand in six goals to lead the Patriots. Bishop scored five goals and assisted on another while Ferry had one goal and five assists. Katie Powell also had five goals while Riley Forman had a pair of goals. Courtney Mackenzie added a single goal to close out the scoring.
Fiona Henderson turned away nine shots in a winning effort in goal for the Patriots.
Central Bucks East (2-0) will host West Chester Rustin in a non-league game Wednesday, and Upper Moreland (1-1) will host Pennsbury in a non-league game Wednesday.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 18, LANSDALE CATHOLIC 5
Claudia Steinmetz scored six goals in a standout offensive effort to lead the Golden Hawks. Carley Irvin added a hat trick while Carley Hiscox and Rianna Shields each had a pair of goals. Contributing one goal each were Lauren Brown, Carissa Longmore, Kristen Lee, Paige Goldberg and Lauren Smith.
Council Rock South (1-0) will host Hatboro-Horsham in a non-league game on Wednesday.
CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 17, UPPER PERKIOMEN 3
Anna Green had a hand in 11 goals in a stellar offensive outing to lead the Titans. The University of Cincinnati-bound senior scored seven goals and assisted on four others. Francine Richick also had a big game, connecting for a hat trick and assisting on a pair of goals. She also had seven draw controls. Kate Victor added three goals and an assist while Tegan Mullan and Janessa Watson both had two goals and two assists. Bridget Curtis contributed three assists and five draw controls.
Central Bucks South (1-0) will travel to Council Rock South for Friday’s SOL opener.
WILSON WEST LAWN 12, UPPER DUBLIN 11
The visiting Flying Cardinals lost a heartbreaker, rallying to pull to within one after falling behind 11-5 in the first half. The Cardinals, who allowed just one goal in the second half, had a shot for the tie with 10 seconds remaining but hit the post.
“It’s a game of inches,” coach Dee Cross said. “We were just too slow getting started, and turnovers hurt us.”
Goalie Riley Brady recorded 13 saves, including a stop on a shot from point-blank range in the second half to keep the Cardinals in the game.
Mack Moore’s five-goal effort led the Cardinals. Julia Reardon added a hat trick while Becky Browndorf had two goals. Jenny McCarry contributed a goal and two assists.
Upper Dublin (0-2) will host Hatboro-Horsham for Thursday’s SOL opener.

STRATH HAVEN 18, NORTH PENN 11
The visiting Panthers scored nine goals in the first half en rout to a 9-4 lead. The Knights spent the rest of the game playing catch-up but never could dig their way out of their early hole.
“It was a tough start to the season,” coach Heather Mellow said. “Strath Haven had some nice offensive players, but we beat ourselves by not taking care of our fundamentals.
“We won about 70 percent of the draw controls, but we had too many turnovers and didn’t capitalize on our possessions. Our defense has some room for improvement too. Clearly, we still have a lot to work on up and down the field. Thankfully, the season is just getting started, so there’s plenty of time to improve.”
Kristin Varilla’s four-goal effort led the Knights. Lily Szilagyi had two goals and an assist. Grace Sacchetti contributed one goal, one assist, eight ground balls and six draw controls. Alli Lindsay, Casey Cavanaugh, Shannon Haedrich and Emmy D’Ambrosio each had one goal.
Emily Varilla had seven draw controls.
Knight goalie Ashley Lambert recorded eight saves.
North Penn (0-1) will travel to Abington Thursday for a non-league game.
